It lives up to its claims and really does only need to be reapplied once during the day. It lasts through eating and drinking too!. If you apply the gloss stick over it it won't dry out your lips. So here is my only problem with #055...there are big differences in the shade every time I order it which is frustrating. Whoever is in charge of Quality Control is not doing a great job of making sure it is the same color every time they make a batch. My local drug stores and big chain stores no longer stock it, so I was happy to find it online.
