Almost Perfect
I love this KVM switch, exactly what I've been searching for. Best 8 port HDMI KVM on the market today. Haven't tried the analog audio but using audio over HDMI works perfectly. 2 port USB hub on the switch is great, added a 4 port powered USB HUB on my desk and plugged it into the switch's 2 port hub, now it's very easy to share USB devices with any PC attached to the switch. Regular USB (A to B) and HDMI (female to female) cables work, no need for their expensive proprietary cables, but if you're using analog audio I would recommend it for reduced cable clutter. ONLY con is the hot-key switching, it's a bit of a PITA. Hold number lock, press and release the minus key, release the number lock, use the number keys above the letter keys (NOT 10 key numbers) and then press enter. Other KVMs I've owned were much easier to switch (usually CTRL+CTRL+10 key 1 thru 8 (some needed enter after), but occasionally I'd accidentally start the sequence to switch, that will NEVER happen with this one so it's not all bad.

If you are considering this switch, do note the product dimensions. This thing is very large (17 inches x 10 inches x 1.75 inches, and 8 pounds). These specs were copied from the Aten product page for model CS1798.

Best KVM ever. Pricey but worth it.
I've used a number of KVMs and this one excels. It carries sound over HDMI and my monitor always recognizes the source. From PS4 to to PC to Mac I get predictable results. No more cycling the monitor for it to recognize the source.
