Perfect - love it! Great little clock!
I love everything about this little clock. The projector time is large and easy to read. The projector has four levels of brightness and off. It is intended for use in subdued ambient lighting, which is how I use it. The clock display has four levels of brightness and off. Plenty bright enough for any lighting condition. It has a progressive alarm. That is to say it starts beeping once pause once pause. Then it progresses to two beeps pause 2 beeps pause, etc. It has a nap alarm that you can set up one time and then it's one button to set after that. The colors look great. Controls are simple and it's easy to set. Folks that were complaining about not being able to figure it out either didn't look on the back of the clock where the instructions are plainly printed or didn't read the little pamphlet that came with it. This is also the only clock that I've ever owned that the battery backup was worth a rip. We lost power for 10 hours and when the power came back on this clock was spot-on. All the other battery backed up clocks I've owned over the years would gain a lot of time on battery. In fact, during the same 10-hour outage, the other clock I have in my bedroom was 20 or 25 minutes ahead. The only thing I didn't love about it is it slides around rather easily because it is so lightweight. I added two little tiny rubber stick-on feet to the front to fix that. I absolutely would buy this clock again. It's the very best design I've ever owned.

5 Years Strong
Bought in 2020. 5 years later, still a'tickin! Bright enough to see in room without the lights on, but not so bright it ruins your sleep if you have sensitive peepers like me. Fully-endorse this cool clock.

Almost perfect, except for the laser...
What I love: - Overall design is great, love the size and shape and display - Brightness of both the display and the laser are adjustable, can get very dim What I don't love: - The laser has a pretty awful halo. My previous laser clock (from another brand) didn't have any halo at all, but this one has a big spotty red circle around the time. Not a fan. - You can't adjust the focus, so the laser is also a little bit blurry If it weren't for that halo this would be a resounding thumbs up for me. come on guys, you can do better than that...

Should Have Got One Sooner
This clock is GREAT! For my "million" years of age, I've been rolling around in bed and then have to sit up to see what time it is. Now, I can open just one eye and see the time on the ceiling. This not only proves I'm especially lazy but that I am also easily enthralled. I am very pleased with this clock. It is rather small but since I only primarily use it to view the "projected" time on the ceiling, it works very well for me. It allows you to adjust the brightness of BOTH the clock display AND the brightness of the projected time on the ceiling. You may also adjust the orientation of the projected time display too. After some experimentation, I easily got it set up to perfectly suit my preferences and it keeps perfect time too. I do not use the charging port or the alarm but would assume they work well too for those that may also like those features. Now I do admit that it does NOT take much to please me but this little clock does do that. I really like mine and would recommend it. It is like I said above, "I should have got one sooner".

Easily Read Time-Projecting Clock Allows for Discrete Checking of the Time
The easily read projection (in red) and time display are just what I was seeking and this diminutive digital clock perfectly fit the bill! I simply like to look up at the ceiling to see the time (done it for years), and when I much older projection clock faded, I searched for years until I found this perfect little (not tiny...just small) keeper of the time! I actually saved a few dollars by buying a clock that seemingly had been returned...but never used! For those of you unfamiliar with projection clocks, the red projection is very easy on the eyes. Also, if your arms are entwined with your partner for the night, you won't have to jockey around (much) to check the time...especially when trying to remember their name...

Clock face unreadable unless tilted
I did purchase used so I don’t know if that has anything to do with my issue; but the clock display is pretty much unreadable unless the clock is tilted downward. At tht point I can make out the time; but the rest of the display especially day/date still unreadable.. unless I’m literally w/n just a few feet away. Our bedroom is small so it’s not as though it’s way across a large room. The projection display is fine; and I love how it can be rotated 360d; with some; the clock face has to be facing away from you or the projection is backwards. Was very easy; straightforward to set. This clock replaced one I’d only had for about 4 months tht took me; my husband and the directions to figure out. I’m not returning it because I just feel like it would be hit or miss w yet another one (which would be my 3rd) I’m frustrated at this point; but again the projection display is wonderful. Very clear; w crisp numbers.

Bright display, battery power backup is useful.
I’m very happy with this. The ceiling projection is nice and bright and the battery will keep it running if the power goes off.

Not worth the price.
Possibly one of the worse alarm clocks I've ever seen. The screen is only visible from a specific angle. Why? If you are too far left, right or below the plain of the screen the text is not visible at all. The projector is very weak. Even in a perfectly dark room the time is barely visible on a roof about 6ft from the clock. The body is made of some of the cheapest plastic ever. It feels cheap and is extremely light. This has to be the worst La Crosse Technology products I've ever seen. Definitely returning.

The Projection Clock is what I use it for primarily and it works really well. Brightness is just right. Dont use the alarm feature much as it is placed away from my bed and will need to get off the bed to stop it. But, didnt find it as convenient as a mobile alarm. But, it works neverthless. But, the way we can set multiple alarms on mobile for every 5 or 10 minutes which really is required for mornings, the alarm function is not as convenient. But for the projection part I would recommend it definitely. Also, the battery ensures that if maid disconnects during cleaning, the time settings dont need to be reset. That is definitely very convenient. The digital display is also something whose brightness can be set for your comfort and it is bright enough during the day to be visible and not bright enough for the night to disturb. All in all a good product. Would recommend it.

It works really well, but if you want to see the projection clearly from a distance, especially when it's on the ceiling - it's best to keep the room dim.
