Once you register the unit you will see a zip file for using PACER with Ableton Live **Q: Can you program the buttons to send sysex commands? Like the CC toggle function but a sysex command for on and a different sysex command for off.** A: I don't believe so. Skimming thru the manual I only see sysex mentioned while addressing backup. The editing section makes no mention of sysex commands, so I don't believe it's available. The manual is available on the nektartech site if you want to look at the details. **Q: Can you program chords ?** A: The Pacer can send multiple messages, but it would be FAR easier to program chords at the other end, in a VST that produces chords from a single key, such as Scaler or Chordjam. Far, far, far easier. **Q: Does this pedal works with ableton live?** A: It works very well with Ableton Live. You can change from transport controls to standard CC or Note messages.
