Great buy!
It was super easy to install, looks great. You can tell the materials are cheaply made but it's also a pretty cheaply priced fan so I think it performs and looks fantastic for the cost. It dims and has all sorts of cool buttons and features on the remote and is quiet. However the one thing I'm meh about is that at night if the fan is on the light will ever so softly glow. Which I found a bit irritating at first but eventually got used to. Overall I think the good outweigh the bad and would buy again.

Very nice fan with features
The installation is a bit tricky given the limited space to work with but it is doable with patience. This fan has variable nature mode to simulate a breeze. The light is fairly bright and a bit different than most fans but I like it. Cleanest looking fane design for the cost. Tip. When putting on the light kit.. make sure you screw it on even but not too tight to restrict the fans movement. It has to be even to ensure light cover is even when putting it on. Fan is quiet and compact.. modern looking

Read my review before you buy for helpful tips.
I don't usually write long in depth reviews on things I buy, but I'm going to for this fan to hopefully help others. I spent hours reading over the specs of this and other fans. What sold me on this fan was its design, reasonable cost and efficiency and also the ability to control it with a remote. I wanted a smart feature initially, but decided the extra $100+ I would need to spend on another fan wasn't worth it. I read the Amazon reviews for this fan and the most common complaints seem to be its difficult installation, lack of power and dim light. I needed 4 fans, so I bought 1 to check it out and install before purchasing the other 3. I learned alot and hopefully this review will help others. If you have no knowledge about electricity and haven't ever installed a fixture you will have a more difficult time and might consider hiring an electrician. If you have some experience with fixtures, I'd budget about 1.5hrs. The first 1 took me this long, but the rest took about 45 min each. This included the replacement of the old fixture box for a new fan box. Here area my tips: 1) Purchase and install a fan rated electrical box if you aren't replacing an old fan. I did this cause I was replacing a light fixture with this fan. 2) Assemble everything except the mounting flange and light cap before climbing a ladder. 3) Screw in the mounting flange ground wire to the fan box before placing the downrod rod onto the flange. 4) Screw in th downrod ground into the ground of the mounting flange after sliding the remote receiver in place. The complaints that there isn't enough room for the receiver simply isn't true. I'll include a picture of how and where it goes, but other reviews have posted similar pictures. The complaints of the fan being underpowered is probably a result of the fan spinning in the wrong direction. The fan blades can be used as either black or brown by flipping them over. Depending on which color you prefer to use, YOU WILL NEED TO ADJUST THE ROTATION OF THE BLADES since the blades are installed at an angle to deflect air. If using brown, a counter clockwise rotation to push air down is appropriate. If choosing black, a clockwise rotation moves the air down. The blade direction is changed with a black switch located on the housing. This feature is helpful too as it allows you to spin the blades in the opposite direction to draw heat down during the winter. The led light can be dimmed by holding down the button with the light icon on the remote. I can see how people might think the light is too dim, if it came out of the box set on low and weren't aware of its dimability. In the end, I am very pleased with my purchase. I love the style, and it didn't break the bank when needing 4 at $120 each. The instructions aren't the best, but if your have some fixture installation experience, this isn't hard at all. I removed 1 star for having to explain all this to people because it's not explained in the instructions.

Fan-tastic with careful install
I don't usually write reviews but since this has some bad reviews I decided to share my experience. I've installed several ceiling fans in the past - this one only slightly more difficult because of the remote receiver - but read through the reviews for suggestions and it is not that difficult. It only fits in one way. Best advice was to assemble the whole thing (except lens cover) before climbing the ladder. As a 3 blade fan there is plenty of room to work and it isn't heavy. Looks great! Works great! Quiet and mine is perfectly balanced. Light is bright - or dim. Fan puts out plenty of air even with only 3 blades. I love it!

Looks are definitely deceiving.
Cannot understand why such a good looking fan comes with the worst possible receiver and remote. May be the receiver available at big box stores can solve the problem. They cost around $25/fan. Unless amazon or honewell is willing to pay for a new receiver, stay away from this to avoid getting frustrated. Overall: Functionality: 0 stars; receiver and remote are miserable. Looks- 5 stars; best looking and sleek compared to almost 500 other designs Quality- 5 stars; for the cost we paid Fan speed & airflow: 5 stars; if you are lucky with the remote working Light brightness: 2 stars; not enough brightness. Light dimmer: 1 stars; lucky if you can test this feature with the terrible remote Assembly- 4 stars; unlike other reviews the assembly was pretty straightforward like any other fans.

Great FAN But Dim Yellow Light
Fan is outstanding! Noise level and remote control are fine. The only negative is the light....it shines a dim yellow! All my other lights in the house are Bright White LEDS. The dim yellow light on the fan is very difficult to adjust to.

Humming noise!
After searching the internet for the most reliable ceiling fans, Honeywell was ranked on top. Well, not for me. The installation was somewhat easy as I have installed multiple fans. The instructions have some error in wire labels and does not take into account the red wire coming out of the ceiling. Of course, this wasn't a big issue for me. The issue was the oscillating humming noise. It is loud enough to keep me from falling asleep. I thought this was going to be a quiet fan. But, not the one I installed. It is being returned. It's a PITA to take down and rebox and take it to UPS to return. I must say that it is nice looking fan and looks well made.

A Red Wire?
I read some of the negative reviews and fortunately for me, they did not hold true. Install was easy, receiver fit tight, but it fit. It looks great and isn’t noisy. Pushes air in my bedroom like a boss. Remote options are sweet. It has an option where the light randomly turns on for 5-20 minutes to simulate home occupancy. The ONLY issue I had was that the wiring instructions were off on mine. It mentioned a red wire...didn’t have that. Luckily the pic in the manual helped me figure out which wire to use. Great price, great product.
