The finished product is excellent - real wood & lots of space for different size items.Assembly will be an issue for many.The instructions are minimalist but once you figure out a sequence, it becomes easier.The screws provided are excellent for their purpose but they have a Torx-type head that requires a special tool or allen wrench.The one provided with the kit stripped about half way through assembly. If you don't have your own, it will be a problem.So end use is excellent but assembly will be a problem unless your have some experience & your own tools. ### ⭐⭐ Imperfections Galore - Move on to a different tree bookshelf *by K***R on Reviewed in the United States on December 28, 2018* I was so excited to get this shelf that the moment it was delivered, I opened the box. The box it arrived in was undamaged and when I opened the box I thought it was packed well but then I saw it, the first scuff. The plastic the center piece came in was ripped and a tiny scuff. Decided that I could live with it. So I moved on and opened the next section pieces - imperfections galore! I was pumped to put this in our living room and create a little reading area. Between the two there were 6 boards that were not pre drilled and 8 missing screws and 1 missing rubber thing. I tried my best with what I had at home. Ended up splitting a few boards and not using the rubber things. I had to use wood glue on the splits and therefore I spray painted them white to hide the blemishes.
