The locking feature is good, however in my last trip the open/lock tab got moved and one opened during travel. For the next trip I put it in a ziplock back that held it securely. I call this a brilliantly designed pill organizer because many times, I've opened one compartment, dumped out the contents, and annoyingly the next compartment also opened and spilled out. I would then have to try to separate the contents, hoping I did this correctly. This brilliant organizer locks those lids tightly closed until you PUSH that little white button to release the lid! Simple! I also LOVE the large sized compartments. I will soon replace ALL of my vitamin organizers with these.
