Best Shades I've Had In Years
*Edit Aug 9* I'm a few weeks in using these. I gave them a recent inspection and had NO scratched lenses yet. That's unheard of with me. A few days after, I sat my No Cry shades down on a concrete lot to put a welding helmet on. I knew better, but I still laid them top down with my perfectly unscratched lens facing out and not on the concrete. Twenty minutes later a molten piece of slag made it's ways down the cuff and into my glove. I jumped up and felt something underfoot my workboots and my 200lb body. I raised my helmet and eyed the twisted, mangled safety shades. I lifted my foot and watched the No Cry shades twist and unbuckle back into shape. I couldnt believe they hadnt snapped or been destroyed. Unfortunately, scratch resistant doesn't mean scratch proof. The lens that twisted face down on the concrete had 4 small dots imprinted into the lens. Luckily they aren't in my direct line of sight. Im going to order another pair and keep the others as a backup. Most comfortable shades I've ever had. Love em. Original review: I have a big ole head. Not bobble sized, but I'm 6ft tall. Standard sunglasses like Pugs press on my head around my ears. $20 and Ninety minutes later they cause headaches. So I end up modifying them which often takes days to achieve comfort. While searching Amazon for "Sunglasses for big heads" I came across No Cry. I work with concrete saws, concrete trucks, air chisels, etc. and wear safety glasses daily. First I like No Cry's look. My favorite color (their green), and a wrap around style I've worn since my first street bike. Sharp, sporty, and stylish. Second they are priced right. I've paid $20 or more several times a year for shades that don't fit, don't hold up against scratches or break easily and definitely don't meet ANSI safety standards. Third they meet ANSI standards for the state inspectors. I'm about 10 days in wearing these to work. No scratches on the lens (usually I get 1 or 2 days before I notice my 1st scratches). The lens looks like it did when I opened the box on day 1 despite cleaning concrete splatter off them several times. They aren't overly dark nor too lightly tinted. Last there's the adjustments. Arm length, arm angle, and nose rest are all adjustable. The instructions claimed the arm angle can be adjusted to avoid foggy lenses when wearing dust masks. I put it to the test. I wear a mask when using the concrete saw. 14 inch diamond blade and high RPMs...I need to see what I'm doing. Before making my first cut my No Cry's fogged up. Per their instruction sheet I adjusted the arm angle (and I tweaked the nose adjust a little). The result was almost immediately the fog began to lessen. I didn't have a clean spot on my shirt to wipe the lens but in about one minute the fog was almost completely gone and vision was good enough to use the saw. I recommend these. I can wear them 12 hours without discomfort, maybe more...but havent needed to yet. The scratch coating has worked very well so far. Plus they look great. Best sunglasses I've ever owned. My $120 Oakley safety / sun glasses (bought from Snap-on) weren't as comfy. The Oakleys made it about 10 days before the arm broke off. My No Cry's are far better.

Awesome Safety Glasses
I love these safety glasses from NoCry. My old glasses needed to be replaced because, over time, they had become severely scratched and pitted. I have other NoCry products and decided to give these a try. I'm very glad I did. I'm 6'4" tall with a larger than average face. I also wear hearing aids that tuck behind my ears. I need longer than average temples and adjustable nose pads are a big plus. These glasses have adjustable temples and the nose pads can be moved around. The result for me is a pair of safety glasses that actually fit my face and work properly. They are very lightweight, the temples don't interfere with my hearing aids and even with the curved lenses, the clarity is terrific. I also ordered a pair with clear lenses for use indoors in my shop. I'm very happy with my purchase and would recommend these to anyone needing safety glasses that can be adjusted to fit your face.

Great sunglasses, but no safety certifications.
To summarize: I really like these glasses. They shield almost my entire field of vision, they're comfortable, and look pretty good. To get a fifth star from me they need to get their ANSI impact resistance certification. My priorities for sunglasses: 1. Shields as much of my vision as possible 2. Impact resistant 3. Anti-fog 4. Comfortable 5. Quality 6. Stylish I was actually a little excited the first time I put these on. These sunglasses actually shield about 95% of my field of vision, excepting only a small area at the very bottom of the field. The lenses are very clear and I've noticed no distortion except at the very, very edge of the lens where it is impossible to avoid. I wish that they were about 10-15% darker than they actually are, but this is really a personal preference. I primarily wear these sunglasses while running. That means that I sometimes wear them for about 2 hours continuously while jostling them around. I've found that they stay very secure on my face, and have not noticed them moving at all. They're pretty light-weight, and are quite comfortable. I haven't done so, but it feels like I could probably wear them a lot longer without experiencing any discomfort. They have a number of adjustments that can be made to fit your face better for comfort and air-flow (anit-foging); I haven't had to mess with these really at all. In terms of quality, they're pretty light and have some flex to them. It does feel like I could break them pretty easily by pulling the arms away from each other, but obviously I'm not actually going to try this. I've dropped them a few times resulting in no apparent damage. Other than this I haven't really tested the scratch resistance, but so far I've seen none in a couple of months of moderate use. I'm very surprised to see sunglasses marketed as "safety glasses" that don't actually have their ANSI impact resistance certification, and the lack of this certification is why I'm only awarding 4 stars. I'm not sure what else about them qualifies them for the "safety" descriptor. It seems disingenuous to market them this way without that cert. Overall, I like these a lot. They're among the best sunglasses I've tried. I wish they were a bit darker, and I wish they had their ANSI cert.

I think these are a good purchase.
I was skeptical of the "green" lenses that were indicated but I received them this morning and I did my daily bike ride and they are a pleasant tint, kind of half green and half gray. They are light, they fit well, comfortable and block the cold wind from my eyes effectively. The shade is not too dark for the low light areas of my route, and are dark enough when I was heading into the low sun in the late afternoon western sky. I also used them for driving, and my route is directly into the sun as I drive home. No problem. They are not as dark as my glass lens expensive sun glasses, but I had no problem using them for driving. Having been in construction my whole life, I have had many different pairs of safety glasses and I consider these to be among the better ones I have used. But I am retired now and they will be pretty much for outdoor recreation. Being plastic I expect them to get scratched easily but since they will not be for work, maybe I can get them to last a lot longer!

Not for me
I purchased these, because of the word safety. I do not know if they really are “sports” safety. The lens part is a stiff type of plastic (?) without a give or bending. I do not know if these are shatterproof. The edges are smooth. There is a pliable rubber bridge nose rest/guard that bends as easy as a pipe cleaner to custom fit to your nose. I purchased these to wear while using my riding mower, in case the blades shoots up a rock and or dust. These are NOT practical for that use. The sides of the lens, on me, do not curve totally to encase my eyes and there is enough space at the outer corners of my eyes that my pinky finger slips through that space. This allows all the sandy dust during mowing to slip past the glasses. The tint is perfect as sunglasses. The bottom of the “lens” does fit down over my eye sockets and probably would save me from a black eye (if they do not shatter), if something hit the lens. The top part of the “lens” sits right on my eyebrows and it is irritating to me to have them fully on top of the bridge of my nose. For these to sit comfortably and not to rub my eyebrows, I pull them down on the bridge of my nose slightly, which defeats “my purpose” for these Safety Glasses. There is, I guess, one would call, a decorative green rubber strip along the sides that matches the green connection part of the swing arms. This green rubber piece on each side catches and pulls my hair. It most likely would not do this to a person with very short hair. The rubber pieces are easily removable and does not ruin or take away from these glasses. They just pop out when pushed with a fingernail. Perhaps these are better suited for golf. If you have a small face, running with them on, they probably would bounce or fall off, unless your head is bigger. There is no way bending them to tighten them to my face, they just go back to their original form. They do stretch outwardly with ease and would be more better fitting with a larger face. With all the options of Safety Glasses, my thoughts that a good pair of true safety sunglasses for all uses, such as sports, bike riding, mowing and the use of any tools, I would not purchase these again. A “multipurpose“ safety glasses is the better option.

I Recommend This Item
I will try to be as honest as possible because I depend on other people's reviews and feel I want to help the best I can: I use these for everything. They are comfortable and easy to quickly slip on and back off. When I was younger, I didn't think of eye safety. Plus all the safety goggles and glasses were uncomfortable and made me sweat of they fogged up. But after years and years of close encounters and even saw dust or other things getting into my eyes while working, I suddenly realized you only get two eyes and you better protect them. I found these glasses and was really impressed. I now own many pairs of them, in clear and tinted. Sometimes I put them on and forget they are on and continue working on other projects without removing them. Very light weight but do a good job. I Recommend. Good Luck.

Fantastic Safety Glasses
Excellent safety glasses. The arms and nose piece have a lot of adjustment making them really comfortable to wear. I bought these for yard work around the house and find the green lenses are perfect for working out in the sun without being too dark. I've worn these only a half dozen times, but have dropped them more than that! No scratches or anything. If these hold up as well as they have been, they're a fantastic buy. I'd definitely purchase again!
