We are on an off-grid island, so A/C is non-existent, which means it's too hot for bed clothes or sheets, but that also means you are banquet spread for any biting insects. The first night we spent inside our 'cocoon' was splendid. It met and exceeded our hopes. Our ceilings are over 8 foot high, so the netting does not reach the floor, but it is easy enough to tuck it under the mattress. I had to modify the ceiling of the canopy to fit over our ceiling fan, which was pretty effortless. I used a clear, double-faced tape to reattach it together and to the ceiling, so that it clears the fan. If you have any problem with mosquitoes or no-see-ums, this will be your answer. It also is wonderfully aesthetic - it adds such a beautiful tropical/romantic look. You can tie the corners for a nice look too.The company was awesome to deal with. Very quick delivery and they went above and beyond to resolve a very minor issue.PS: Searched (in vain) to find a better quality canopy. This one is by far the largest out there and not cheesy. It is well-made. Had owned a Pier I type before and the small, round top is much more limiting in the size and feel from inside the canopy. It comes with screw in hooks to hang the netting on. I didn't get a single no see um bite at night which is a first. Normally I have a hundred or so by the time vacation is over.
