Could i use the meater + in a joint of meat which is then sealed in a vacuum sealed bag and placed in a sous vide?

Probably. It’s dishwasher safe so a sous vide temp should be ok too. Even a sous vide takes time to heat the center of a piece of meat so I can see it being handy.

how does it know how long to cook a piece of meat for, do you need to weight it first?
