I'm cold-natured and use another brand of portable space heater nearly every day. The problem is having to unplug and move it from one place to another, mostly back and forth between the couch to my desk where I have to crawl on my hands and knees to plug/unplug it. I received the Trustech 2 in 1 portable space heater as a gift and I placed it under my desk and immediately began using it.A comparison of this portable heater to my other: (1) The Trustech portable space heater does not get as hot as my other heater; however, I generally use the low heat setting. For more heat I can use the high heat setting and it feels great. This is actually better than my other heater, which can sometimes be TOO warm on the low heat setting and there is no way to adjust it down to be cooler. 5 stars.(2) The protrusion at the bottom of the heater only allows the Trustech heater to work if it is pressed in by the floor when it is upright. My other heater, as far as I know, has no safety feature like this. I've tilted and turned it nearly sideways and it still works. I try to be extremely aware to make sure it's in a safe operating position but it does cause some concern. I prefer to have the safety feature of the Trustech, especially since it is under my desk and will automatically shut off if I accidentally kick it over. 5 stars.(3) The noise level of the Trustech is lower than my other heater which gets hotter and blows harder. In both heaters, the only sound is the air moving through the vents. The motors themselves are silent. No electric hum or squeakiness.5 stars.Overall, I'm enjoying the use of my Trustech portable heater, and will purchase another if my older heater stops working or I find a third location where it is difficult to move the portable heater to and fro.

I’ve had this for a few years now, only really use the heating function but it’s great. Heats up a large, cold, and drafty room in 10-15 minutes. Simple switch allows to use with a smart outlet. I set it to go off with my morning alarm to wake up in a warm bedroom. It’s not silent but it’s not a bothersome level of noise at all.

It came in a box. Not a display box. Just a plain box. No instructions and the cord was just rubber band tied together. Honestly I thought it was used or something. BUT.....let's get to the good part....it works well for small spaces. The fan has two settings as well as the heater. Low and high. And obviously off .I use this in our bedroom which is pretty large and it keeps air flowing ok. The heater works well. When we keep the door closed. It's a nice feature to have two in one. No more need of a separate heater and fan.Our winters are pretty brutal. And that's why this fan works for us. If we keep the bedroom door closed and heater on it warms up nicely. And if we need a quick cool down we just switch it to fan and open the bedroom door. Saves on heating the whole house and keeps our bill lower.It has a tip button on the bottom that must be level or at least pressed in on something. Preventing it from staying on if it's accidentally tipped over.One really small niche complaint. I'm sure is maybe just us. But as our power goes out often in winter and sometimes in summer. The reason we got this to begin with. Just in case. But now we use it everyday. And nothing with the fan/ heater combo itself. But to run this in heater mode you will need at least a 1000wh battery backup. It draws a good amount when on. So we needed to upgrade to just use this in case of emergency. I'm sure this is common with most things. Was there a benefit to finding this out.....YES....As we never thought about having a backup power supply for our other things. Refrigerator mostly. Other than a smelly generator , gas and oil and running cables outside through a window...but now we don't need to use the smelly generator for short term power outages....we just pull out the battery backup and we're good to go for at least a few days....So a positive there....Overall a good product. Works well so far and happy to not have to switch back and forth seperste heater and fan.....now it's just the turn of a dial. And it super portable to carry around the house if need be.

This was purchased to be placed on a desk at work to be used either intermittently or continuously for hours at a time. It needed to be able to provide sufficient heat for me personally (and not others in the rather large room in which I work) at the same time be exceedingly quiet so as not to disturb others working in that same room, and finally, it needed to have the heating output direct-able somewhat so that I could adjust it to my position at the desk. At the same time I wanted it to be light and portable and sufficiently small to be moved without hesitation.This model does precisely what is described above. The heat is definitely sufficient when placed on my desk a few feet from my face/hands. There is virtually NO noise from the fan, and the output can be directed with ease. There is a small depression/handle on the back of the model so that moving it and carrying it is a no-brainer, and it is so lightweight that it can easily carried with two fingers in the depression/handle. There is also (at the bottom of the heater) a tip-proof cutoff switch, although I have to admit I did remember to try it out each time I use it!At least for me, this is exactly what I was looking for, and I am extremely pleased with this purchase/product.

Worked well until I heard a rattling noise and went over to check on it. Thankfully I did because sparks and smoke were coming out the front of it. Could have caused a fire had I been asleep and not heard the noise. The top of it had already started to melt by the time I walked over to it.
