This brush is made very well. It's true it has no terrible smell. I still don't know how they accomplished that. It's soft but has a good backbone. So far it hasn't lost a single hair. It creates a great foam. Only problem is that it doesn't fit in a standard stand. You need to hang it upside down when drying. I was able to make mine stay on the stand but tilted. If you buy this shave brush I suggest you buy the one with the stand and the cup or mug. I would suggest the one with the mug. Is good to whip up a foam in a mug like this one comes with. Look for it on Amazon they have it. It's a good price with or without the mug. I will see if I can find a proper stand for it but for now the way I have it works well enough.PS.they finally got more anbbas stands in look for it on amazon.

Very good quality and very soft hair. Good weight on the handle, nice firm backbone so lathering in not an issue, and absolutely no shedding. It is a bit of a lather-hog but that's expected with silver-tips. The best most appreciated and unexpected thing is that there was no funky smell like with most badger-hair brushes. Very pleased with the product and purchase.

This brush is amazing. I’ve been DE shaving for a few years and always used a cheaper badger hair brush that came in a kit. Until now I had no idea what I was missing. I wanted a new brush because I was tired of mine constantly shedding. This brush doesn’t have that problem. The handle has some weight to it and feels high quality. Most of all, it easily creates an amazing lather and feels incredibly soft and comfortable. Even if you’re a beginner I’d say to go ahead and just start with this brush. I wish I had done that.

This brush is amazing and I believe may actually be silvertip badger. It makes a good and quick lather and feels great against the skin. My one critique is it seems like it is not going to last as long as past brushes I have had. However, I could buy at least 6 of these compared the comparable brushes I have had. Highly recommend.

I'll start by saying the brush works fine, the problem is it did not fit my shaving brush stand which I've had for years. For those of you who do not know, you need a stand to properly take care of a decent shaving brush. I suspect my stand would fit most brushes so I was rather surprised to find it did not fit this brush. OK, my stand was old so I figured I'd bite the bullet and buy the stand from the vendor for another $7.99. It is just a cheap piece of plastic which does not fit my razor which I got from Harry's. Every time. I move the stand, the razor falls out. Its just a clumsy setup. I tried hanging my razor from the top of the stand, it drags on the counter. If you hang it as it was designed, the razor being too long falls over from the top. The brush itself was nice, and has some weight to it. I find it creates good lather which I like.

Great shaving soap brush. Been using it about two months, no smell, no shedding. I would buy it again.

This is a great brush! 6 months ago I bought another brush, also from Amazon, from a co called Fento. It was at least $10 cheaper and I didn't know the difference at the time. The brush part of the Fento promptly fell off from the handle, and after unsuccessfully and repeatedly gluing it back on I tossed it and bought the Anbbas. In contrast, his one is really well built. Bristles don't shed. Excellent lather. Well worth the extra $10.

This is a very solid, heavy brush. Nice soft bristles with enough body to whip up a good lather. I haven't noticed any shedding. I replaced a cheap brush with this one and I think it is a much better product to justify the higher price point. Also, the base is a ferrous alloy so I stuck a magnet under a shelf to keep the bristles down when storing. Not really sure if it will fit in a standard holder.

Brush was nice and soft works well holds shaving cream well.

This is a nice set for the price. The stand is mostly metal and has a good weight. The entire bottom is felt so it provides grip and protection. The height is good for most razors. The claws are metal and large, should fit most other brushes. Holds my Henson razor perfectly. Will not tip over with just a brush or a razor. The brush is real badger hair. The size is good and the brush hair is cut perfectly. No loose strands yet, even after some aggressive lathering. The stand looks good and is stable. Takes up little space and is good for hanging and drying your brush and razor.

This is a very nice brush. Builds a great lather and works very well.
