This recorder is great.I ordered this recorder based from what I read online about what it could do. The sound quality is great as well as the microphone.This recorder gives you the option to use an micro SD card to record your files on. You can also select the quality of how you like to record your files.Transferring the files to a computer takes less than a minute, yet only a few seconds. The recordings are compatible with windows media player as well as other players on your computer. You also can record in MP3 format in which is compatible with many programs on your computer.I bought this recorder for interviews & it did very well. The three microphones on the recorder makes it sound very good when recording. I also tested the recorder with a microphone & it recorded very well with the microphone.Also this recorder has a FM radio & an earphone jack.You can also adjust the microphone sensitivity to how loud or how low you would like the recorder to record.The best thing I would say about this recorder is that it has an recording level to where you are able to tell if you are talking too loud, too soft, or just right. When I played back my recordings, everything sounded crystal clear & the volume was just right. Due to the recording level screen, I will not have to edit my recordings.Having a recording level is very important to me because I had an digital recorder previously where it did NOT have a recording level screen & when I played back my clips, the interview was somewhat distorted for that the microphone was too close to those who were speaking. If that prior recorder had recording level, then that problem would not have occurred. With that recording, I ended up editing it but it took a lot of time to fix it. So my suggestion is to have a recorder with an recording level so you are able to tell how loud or soft the recordings are.This has been by far the best digital recorder I've had & I recommend this to anyone who is looking for a digital recorder with great quality. There are other recorders out there that may be & seem better, but this one to me is great.I'm very pleased with this product.

Purchased mainly for the remote recorder functionality. At any appreciable distance, make sure to point correctly and aim it at the sensor else it is a hit or miss whether unit will respond. Sound quality is OK. If it is live music being played, it takes a few seconds to attenuate and get the volume spike under control. Quality is OK. Clearly an older generation product, so a bit of a time warp using it in 2023. But it is functional and there are strangely not that many competitors that offer a real remote for recorder at this price range. Work, just be patient and work with its quirks. Ultimately may be good enough depending on your need. Works for me overall.

Just too awesome...Print the manual, be prepared to read it 4, 5 6 times. WHY? Each button may have 3 to 5 unique functions...I was going crazy, till I understood this simple fact...I marked up the hard copy print out many times with arrows a,b,c, but if ...1A 1B 1C....I think this stuff , came from the Roswell Crash site-awesome BG

I bought this product August 23, 2021 for work not knowing it was a discontinued product. I did not get a chance to use it until a couple of weeks ago. It worked the first time, but now it will not connect to charge, it will not connect to my computer, it will not do anything and the time for return has expired.

The detailed instructions (not included) ran to 57 pages. I simply didn't want to print out this much.

I like the product, I'm still trying to figure out how to use it. But the part that I have figured our is great! Will write a better review after that.
