Folding Shower Seat Wall Mounted – Secure Fold Down Shower Bench, 350lbs Capacity, Space-Saving & Easy to Clean, Polished Chrome

I just got this for our newly designed tile stall shower. I wanted it for myself for when shaving - thought it would make that easier, as well as for when my parents visit. I loved the way the product comes in a nice protective, fabric sleeve with all the contents and directions for installation inside. The quality of the seat itself is really nice and solid. It looks like something you would see on the shower wall of a very modern hotel. The wall piece is a shiny chrome material and very sleek and modern looking overall. I can't wait to have it installed - and don't attempt to install it yourself as they will tell you in the materials. Hire a professional to do it the right way! I bought this for us, but may get another one for my parents. I think it makes a lot more sense to have one of these in the wall lying flat for whoever needs it, rather than to have one of those bulky seats in the middle of the shower floor that are always in the way for anyone else who needs the shower. This is elegant and looks nice when not in use. Definitely recommend!

We had limited space to add a shower for my elderly mom. I am pleased that this seat looks nice in the space. More importantly though, I was concerned about how sturdy it was when it came. Or if she could fit on it. My husband and I both gave it the test. Even bounced on it. It felt very sturdy and the seat was large enough for any person, I felt.

What I like: It is sturdy. There is no wiggle, no sag, no hint of cheap materials. I sat on it to test it under my considerable weight. What I like: I can wash my feet in the shower without risk of falling. What I didn't like: There are 5 mounting bolt holes. With existing hole spacing, there is no way to mount to more than 1 wall stud. I don't trust the plastic anchors. I had to remove drywall on the other side of the tiled wall, install additional horizontal wood members, then patch the removed section of the drywall. And paint. I could have paid someone to do that job, but I hate paying someone to do things I can do myself. And one more thing that could be improved: The amazon site shows satin nickel as an option, but amazon gave me no way to order something other than chrome. Some women (not mentioning any names) don't like chrome in the same shower stall as the brushed nickel things.

I have installed this seat a few times now. Works well in 30 inch showers. Very sturdy. Have seen some complaints about seat being slippery. If you have that problem sand the top with 40 or 60 grit sandpaper for a minute.

My wife needed a bench in the shower and this is a beautifully designed and a quality product and manufacturing. She loves it, strong and sturdy.

This was certainly a project, w/wall studding being 16” on center and small surface area available w/seat the positioning in a shower is limited. I wouldn’t purchase this again and wouldn’t suggest it’s being purchase for installation by a client, friend or family? It certainly looks good but that’s were it ends for a hollow wall shower application which is what showers are going to be, contractors build most houses, today so for this seat reinforced walls & hardware has to be applied. If U do purchase this seat get a qualified individual to install it & even if U do it’s extremely doubtful it will hole weight it’s advertised to hold which is 350 lbs, it simply won’t hold that kind of weight. It does fold up out of the way as advertised but that’s about it. My wife wanted a place to rest her foot while shaving and wanted a nice looking seat for that so it fit the bill for Us & she can sit on the seat but really doesn’t need it so if U can use it as a foot rest, it works fine. Otherwise purchase a larger seat that can be applied to more than one stud. “Believe U me”

We needed a wall mounted seat for our shower to replace a bamboo seat that took up to much space. We also have a floor to ceiling caddy. This seat was the perfect answer not only for space but function. I can shave my legs with easy and comfortable sit on the seat to shower . I flip it up when done ,takes up little space when down that it is not a problem to shower in the down position should you chooses . We are please with the purchase. My husband is a contractor and it did not take him long to install. It you are not handy you may want to call someone to install as you will need to measure where you want it (height and center, level and drill.

To heavy, ive installed many fold down shower seat and this one really was to heavy and not very stable.

Excellent quality Used for two years so far and still like new.
