I don't give out of the box reviews like some do so I have waited a month of use so as to give an accurate opinion.Out of the box this a very attractive coffee maker. The finish is fit for a classic car. The stylish design of the carafe is attractive as well. It doesn't seem to be any more fragile than any other models that I have owned. The easy to grab handle makes pouring even a full pot a breeze..Some drips can occur though and I have found that slower is better. A lot has been said about a clock issue. I was a little skeptical to purchase this coffee pot due to the mix reviews. However, I am so glad I did! I have had for about six months now and I love it! It works great! Keeps coffee hot! Best of all, it has that awesome retro-look to match my red retro microwave (also made by the same company). It pours well, no problems with dripping. It takes about 8 minutes to make my half pot of coffee, but it's worth waiting for. If this coffee pot used to have issues, this company fixed any of those issues and then some. I would highly recommend it to anyone!
