We do an N-scale Christmas train village every year, and this year we expanded to a larger table and three separate train sets. Using three separate speed controller packs was tough to organize properly, but with two of these 10-foot extension wires, we were able to get all three controllers lined up exactly where we wanted them. These are plug-and-play and I think they're perfect if you find yourself expanding your layout.

I needed an extension wire for my track because I built my railroad about 14 inches from the ceiling and wanted access to Bachmann's EZ Controller without using a ladder. I used two let in boxes and ran the extension wire through both boxes from the top of a cabinet into the wall behind the shelf and attached the ends to the terminal track. I used cable TV covers to run the wire through. It works great.

I can be further away from my trains than before I used this. Ooh, terrible English! Anyhow, I like this extemsion.

It’s track switcher for my model trains mine was worn out and Bachmann products are good quality for the price

Liked cord works perfectly but quite expensive
