It is ideal for a fast turnaround on domestic and commercial sanitary projects. Clean non-porous surfaces with DOWSIL™ R-40 Universal Cleaner or methylated spirits, and dry thoroughly with a clean, oil and lint-free cloth before application of sealant. Application Instructions Apply sealant to the desired area using a sealant gun. Once finished, the joint should be tooled within 5 minutes of application to ensure good adhesion. Clean up Excess sealant may be cleaned off tools and non-porous surfaces whilst in an uncured state by using DOWSIL™ R-40 Universal Cleaner. It was easy to use and seemed to adhere well to the lens. There seems to be a common issue with the dual polycarbonate lenses on some Porsches and Aston Martins. Provided that the light hasn't failed and you have got rid of all the moisture this might be a good fix to re-seal the unit and save yourself around £1000 for the cost of a replacement unit. Astronomical price for a plastic light with some LEDs inside!!! So...if you have a rear light problem wigh a split seem and water getting in then try this fix...it might work.
