The LEGO Zoo: 50 Easy-to-Build Animals

I can't express how much I love this book. It is perfect for our six year old Lego enthusiast. It is designed like the Lego instruction manuals you get inside the official Lego kits, which is exactly what we were looking for. We had previously bought books in the Lego Ideas series which don't give step-by-step instructions like this book, and our daughter was lost and bored with them. She loves trying to make the cute animals in this book. I'd say that ages five an up would have little trouble following along with the instructions. My only complaint is that some pieces used are hard to find, and it might be helpful to have a section at the end of the book that details which sets might be needed to include these hard-to-find pieces. I wish there were more Lego books like this one!

Good book. Older child reading

I bought this for my 5 year old. He really enjoys going through and picking an animal to build. It’s easy to follow and lists all the pieces along with product number that you need for each animal. If you don’t have a piece, you can just refer to the product number to find it online to order from lego! Totally recommend this book for any lego lover!

Did not like kindle version

This book is great because it gives you a part list for building each animal,in which you can use your parts on hand and or order parts from bricklink or Lego.com. The step by step instructions are easy to follow.Love the different levels of difficulty of the animals included which gives a variety of building experiences. Also there is freedom to add your own creativity. I have built several animals so far and will use book to build more to add to my own Lego Zoo. I encourage you to do the same.

This is great for a young builder. Super easy for my 5 year old to understand!

Super cute book, but frustrating when you find you don’t have a needed LEGO.

My grandson loved all the ideas in this book. It's full of very detailed instructions on how to make each animal. I can tell he's going to have hours of fun creating with this!
