Our old cup-style holder was always gross and moldy on the bottom, but this holder stays clean and air-dries the brushes. It holds all sizes of brushes, big and small. I have a large full length mirror on the wall above our wash basin and the adhesive stuck really well to the mirror. The holder can then be easily removed to clean it.
