It has come in handy more times than I can count getting screws out of areas with very little room to work. It isn't a full 90° right angle, but is still capable of getting into some very tight spots. The adapter has a magnetic bit retainer that works exceptionally well with the short insert bits I use with it. The maximum torque rating for it is 100 In/lbs, which is slightly under my cordless screwdrivers 150 In/lb rating, but even so, I've used it quite hard and have never really come close to breaking it. The handle is removable and repositionable, but I often just leave it off and use the adapter without it. Back when I bought it, this adapter was the only one of it's type that I could find. There are several other similar adapters available now, but this Milwaukee offset is still one I would always want to have in my cordless screwdrivers storage case. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 5.0 out of 5 stars Excellent product *by P***R on Reviewed in the United States on February 11, 2013* This is a great product. In most cases it's has as much access as a 90 degree off-set but this has a smaller profile than most 90 degree drivers and with a flex or rigid extension you can really get into some tricky places. One great use is to combine this with a 1/4" hex - 1/4" square adapter for small nuts and bolts and/or a set of small 1/4" hex bit screw bits. This also goes great in my Makita Lithion case and compliments it well.As a note; I've owned one of these I bought at a Lowes years ago and I bought one recently for a friend. On mine I noticed that the chrome lower shaft case does not move at all and is very securely attached to the head case. The one I bought recently lets the shaft case move and IMO it should not and is symptomatic of a defect or damage. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 5.0 out of 5 stars Low quality gearing but I haven't found a smaller right-angle-drive adapter *by M***T on Reviewed in the United States on July 16, 2015* Even though this Milwaukee has the poorest gearing of the three right angle adapters that I own, because it has the smallest head, I include it in my take-along tool bag and leave the other two ( DeWalt and Titan, see photo comparison) at home. The angle isn't a true 90 like on the other two tools. The gear ratio is 1:1 unlike the Titan which is a 2:1 reduction.For years, I carried an unbranded replica of this Milwaukee which I recently gave to a friend. I came to Amazon looking for a replacement. I purchased this tool which has "Milwaukee" molded into the head.While shopping, I also bought the DeWalt which has a magnetic head like this Milwaukee, but the recess is much deeper and almost completely swallows 1" bits, requiring a screw or another bit to push through the DeWalt's eject access hole.I also found the Titan, which has the smoothest gearing and a great locking handle. The Titan's spring-loaded collet locks the bits more securely than magnets, but protrudes from the head and gives the Milwaukee a 3/4" clearance advantage.I have used this Milwaukee with a standard power screwdriver for drilling and driving. I also have used it with a Milwaukee hex impact driver. My guess is that under the same usage, this Milwaukee driver will fail before the other two because the gearing is rough and jerky in comparison.
