Reusable Portable Standard Male Advantage Urinal System with Spill Proof Collection Bag

Without hesitation I would recommend this product. My husband needs to go to the bathroom several times during the night. Twice he fell, both times it was serious (911 serious one time). I search for something he could use in bed without the fear of leaks or spills. Found it in this portable urinal!!! It has been great. Not only eliminating the need to get out of bed, but also enabling my husband get back to sleep faster. A little hint though, because of the contents I wanted to be sure that there wasn't an accident of anything leaking so I have always put a plastic bagging around it. This doesn't need to be changed daily as it does stay clean. I was the bad daily and rinse out with water and a little Lysol. Today while cleaning it the bag sprung a little leak, and here's another hint, buy one extra for back up. One more hint, remember where you store the back-up. Ha, I forgot so just ordered another to be delivered in two days. In the meantime I can still use it but I have double bagged it with plastic baggies. It should be fine until I get the one I just ordered. Not sure if these have such a short useful life or I just got a defective one, either way it is minimal to put up with for the positive things it does.

Beyond what the other reviewers have said about having a drainage bag the design of the urinal is GREAT! Why they don't all come with a rounded bottom for ease of use is beyond me. Well done Advantage! My only complaint is I wish they made this design without the bag for daytime use. I am also VERY WORRIED that we'll be caught with our pants down, (pun intended!) it will rip, break, tear, or otherwise be unusable and we won't have a back-up. I'm going to order at least two more after I post this. -------------------------------------------------------------- I had to track down this review to amend my previous review. I still wish we had the plastic part only for day time hours when I empty it after every usage. It is truly the BEST DESIGN so my patient and I can't stand using any other urinal. Not only did the owner, Larry, call to discuss my previous review but bent over trying to make me happy, thus assuring a life long customer. This urinal is a lifesaver for me. My husband had a stroke last year and cannot get up by himself at night to use the restroom. Since we got this for him to use, I can finally get some sleep! 😀 Update- This is the 3rd or 4th one I have bought because after about 6-8 months, the cording or bag gets a hole. I think it would be nice to add some kind of reinforcement to the cord where it meets bag and handle. Also, maybe use a thicker plastic for bag?

I’ve ordered before, but the ones with the foam around the opening have never had a problem with this one. The urinal came apart from the tubing and what a mess all over the bed when I get my phone I will take pictures and show you what I mean, I have contacted support and no respond. I have never needed a support before thank you.

I was getting up 4 or more times a night to empty my fathers urinal, or take him to the bathroom. One of those times, in a state of sleep deprived desperation, I went online and found the Advantage Urinal System. That changed my life. This is such a simple Idea. A urinal attached to a night bag. You should get a new one every month or so. I waited too long this time, the bag cracked and I had a mess. I just ordered 2 more on Tuesday, they were delivered on Friday. The Advantage Urinal System is not available in any store that I have found. I want everyone to know about this product. I show it to evey nurse and care giver that walks in the door. I feel like standing on a street corner and giving demonstrations, or maybe I should get a bunch and try to sell them in truck stops. The price is small compared to a fall, or a spill, and 8 hours of uniterupted sleep is priceless.

This is perfect for my 98 year old father. Since he is almost blind he uses a urinal, if your reading this then you know I've had to empty it multiple times a day. Now, with this unit, I only empty it in the morning and evening. No more spilling. This is a perfect design. The opening is larger and flared, my Dad says, "It's much easier to use and I don't have to move it around full." I have it placed on top of a washcloth at the edge of the sink and since one side is flat it doesn't fall off, then the bag hangs on the lower toilet hand rail. At night I hang it on the outside of a tall trash can and lay the bag in a plastic bucket so gravity does it's job. One more plus for this perfect urinal, I'm a registered nurse and sure wish we had these in hospitals! Easy to assess urine volume, color and clarity.

I use a wheelchair and have used this product for a couple of months since I bought it to replace an old bottle-type one-liter "spillproof" male urinal which I would occasionally accidentally overfill during the night. The two-liter capacity of the down drain bag is more than enough for me. The drain bag hangs conveniently low on the side of our platform bed for gravity-fed drainage and the attached half-liter urinal is easy to use while lying in bed since it has a flat bottom, an upturned opening and a handle, though it is not spillproof if you're not careful. The drain bag has a foolproof clamp closure on the drain hose to prevent leaks and is pretty easy to drain and rinse out in the bathroom the next morning, though it's not as easy as with a simple bottle without a hose, etc. Overall, I'm very satisfied.

The dump valve is ridiculously difficult to open and close.I bought additional bags which were much easier to manipulate.The rubberized connector between the urinal and replacement tubing restricts the flow considerably, even to the point of kinking line and completely obstructing the flow. You can cut the rubberized connector to make it shorter and that will avoid the kinking problem. The flat urinal bottom seems like a good idea, but be careful. it will still tip back to front and spill the contents unless you hold the handle. Despite these drawbacks, it's still the best in bed urinal I have used.

This is nothing but a small version of urine collecting bottle with a tube connected to a plastic bag.The way in which picture are put confuses the buyers. I bought it for my father who is bedridden and during night passes urine in sleep.This equipment is not suitable for such patients.Penis has to be extra long minimum 15 centimetres long so that end of penis goes inside the bottle.If patient moves there is very good chance that all urination will be on the bed.Most of the descriptions given are wrong. Very Very highly priced.More than 4K please look for silicon made condom type with a tube and collection bag which can be reused.

Well the people don’t call you back the product is good and works doesn’t leak however the capture bucket is a bit large doesn’t fit that well not like what is advertised in the picture .However the part does work very well just to fill the bucket
