Samsung Galaxy S8 Case, Full Body Bumper Case Built-in Screen Protector Slim Clear Shock-Absorbing Dustproof Lightweight Cover Case for Samsung Galaxy S8 (Grey/Clear)

I spent months trying to find a screen protector for the curved edge Galaxy s8 I bought. Tried probably 5 brands. No matter which brand, and no matter what the reviews, none of them would stay on my phone for more than a week. My goto phone case for every Galaxy phone I've owned was otterbox, with built in screen protector. They don't make one for the edge screens. I was at a loss. I had no idea what to do. I couldn't keep buying a new glass screen protector every 2 weeks or so, and I don't like going without... One day I came across this item here on Amazon. I decided to give it a try. I actually purchased both this case, and a similar waterproof case I found. Tried them both. Both were good solutions, however this one was leaps and bounds better. Not only does this one look great on my phone, but it's functionality is flawless. The touchscreen sensitivity is not at all affected by it. All areas of the screen work exactly as they do without it. I use a phone ring holder on the back to help me hang onto my phones (the older I get, the more I seem to suffer from the dropsies), and it affects my ability to use wireless chargers, but I do have a couple, and I tested them out before putting the ring holder on. The case does not affect the wireless charging either. Now, the important part... protection from drops... Sadly, while I rarely ever drop my phone (because my finger is through the ring holder), it does happen... In fact I dropped mine 2 days in a row. Once inside Target, I dropped it about 4 feet to the hard floor below. It slammed down hard, right on the corner. There's no way the screen/glass back survived... I picked it up, and it was unbroken! The next day I was looking at my phone as I walked to the bathroom at home to relieve myself. As I stepped up to the toilet, I went to put my phone into my hoodie pocket. It slipped, and fell towards the open bowl/watery grave below. I reacted quickly and grabbed for/swatted at the phone as it fell. I figured if I wasnt able to catch it, at least I could swat it aside, missing the toilet, and onto the floor... It worked! However, while it did miss hitting the water, it bounced off of the edge of the toilet, slammed into the wall beside it, and fell to the floor. Again, there is no way the glass survived... I picked it up, and yet again, it was unbroken. I've been happily using (and abusing) this case for around 5 or 6 months now, and it has withstood everything I've thrown at it. Simply put, this thing is amazing! I'd recommend this to anyone still using an S8.

Totally recommend it, exactly as described but it does the job marvelous loving it.

I like it, but a few issues. To open it for first use, there's a tiny notch in one corner. One is supposed to use a fingernail to open. That would probably be okay if one had strong nails. I had to get someone to open it for me. Because there is no clip, when wearing a pair of pants with no pocket, I had to tuck it into the waist band for a few minutes. Sweat got in through openings at the top on the front. Since I couldn't open it --see up-- I had to wait for it to dry, or go in search of a thin blade. The power opening on the gray plastic surround has a ridge in it that prevents some cables from connecting. I'm going to have to trim it down so all the cables can make contact. The company should remove the ridge. It connected well with the Qi charger in my truck, but it couldn't be plugged in for faster/continuous charging due to the problem mentioned above. It was at 30% using bluetooth and Qi which doesn't charge quickly. It crept lower. The front cover works on the phone like there's nothing between the screen and one's finger. I can't say anything regarding durability. I've only had it three days. I don't use the fingerprint reader on my phone, so I can't comment on that. After using a heavier case, this one feels strange to hold, almost like there's no case on it. Edit: Using a couple of different files from my toolbox, I managed to get rid of the ridge which did the trick. I can now use all my "c" cables.

I am truly astonished at the quality of this product given it's price. I've only had it for a week so as far as how it holds up to wear remains to be seen but I'll go over the initial impressions. As opposed to the LifeProof case I tried in the past, the built in screen protector in the case actually fits snug on my screen and there is no weird space in between resulting in the proper input detection I couldn't get with the case I had before. The case holds itself together very well, it's not going to come apart for any reason on it's on. The buttons are stiffer than I have found on most other product which is a plus for me. The downside is that you may have to use a little more pressure than you're used to but I don't feel like these will fail like my previous products. The only two annoyances have with this case (albeit they are small annoyances) are the Type C port cover and the back of the actual case. The cover for the Type C port, while sturdy, has a tendency to depress a little too much and you either have to hope you have long nails or find something to help pull it back out. The back of the case is more of a personal preference. It's clear appears to be made of the same material used for the front of the case to go over the screen. This material seems to have a lot of static friction and tends to get a lot of debris stuck to it. Also, not a negative but just be aware, this case is not a full seal, will not protect your phone from a full immersion for very long. Overall, I am extremely happy with this case so far and it honestly out does most of the pricier options available.

I am very pleased with this phone case. I expected that my phone would be noticeably less sensitive to touch, but it's not. I also worried that my phone cord would not fit in the hole, but it does. I like that the speaker is open and the cord plug-in holes have covers. I have dropped my phone quite a few times since putting this case on, sometimes in the snow, and the case has done a beautiful job. Here are my complaints: - The charging hole is a little small. My charging cord can plug into it without me needing to remove the case, but it's tight, so the cord falls out somewhat easily. - The headphone hole is a little small. My earbuds can't plug into it. That being said, these earbuds could plug into very few of the very few phone cases that I've had, and anyway, I usually use my bluetooth headphones now. - Sometimes the little charging hole cover doesn't like to stay closed and I have to push it in farther, which makes it hard to open again, but usually it's just fine.

I like the case. And I like that it has built and screen protector. But it is very hard for it to charge while the case is on therefore it becomes a very annoying problem. I have a few chargers, and none of them can be plugged in and just get it to charge. You have to keep moving it around. And it just feels like the case gets in the way.

Dear hubby, picky as he is, can’t say enough how much he loves this phone case. The most important feature he wanted was one that wasn’t heavy. This case is light-weight and slips into his pocket easily. It was easy to snap the screen protector and the back together. It came with a cleaning cloth and a drying cloth. It fits his Samsung Galaxy 8 perfectly. All the ports line up. And his charging cable still fits nicely. He’s not crazy about the flap that covers the charging hole, but if it is still cumbersome to lift it to get the charger in there he may just snip that flap off. So far he has kept that on there. The edge of the case has a slight rubbery feel to it, which makes it easy to grasp. He doesn’t have to use any heavier touch to activate the buttons. He said give it 5 out of 5 stars!

Love this phone case best by far, the included screen protector has proved to be effective for the long term and certainly more cost efficient than buying individual screen protectors all the time. Certainly would recommend and buy again if needed.

Fits good but the stand broke the first week.. and when it's time to clean it, it's one heck of a job. Feels like you're gonna break your cell in half trying to take the case off.
