Super durable and cute
This watch is incredibly durable and long lasting. I am extremely tough on things because I like to adventure a lot. This watch, however, is able to withstand what I do to it. It has been swimming and diving with me in chlorinated pools, lakes, rivers, and in the ocean. It also has been banged on rocks, trees, and door frames because I often forget where my arms are in space if I am too busy concentrating on other things. So for the durability aspect of this product I am extremely pleased with it. I am also very happy with how this product looks. It is pretty feminine and small, so I still feel like a girl while wearing this heavy duty watch. I like the color and display as well. It is very convenient to be able to read it at a glance and get the date, time, and day of the week. I also enjoy the alarm setting and the user-ability. I hate reading manuals and this watch was really easy to set and further program by just messing around with it. Casio makes a good product, and I am really happy with what I got with this watch for the price of it. Although I have not used the lap and other running modes to this watch, it's cool they are there because I like to use the stopwatch on it for cooking/baking. Overall I am very pleased with the durability, looks, and function of the watch as well as the battery life on it. I would definitely buy this watch again if I ever were to do something bad enough to it that it broke (yet that isn't very likely).

My favorite watch EVER!
I’m so very happy with this watch. I love the black and purple color scheme, though a couple other colors are available. There are six different screens. The main screen has the time and date, including the day and year. The time can be set to 12- or 24-hour time. There is a stopwatch, which, in addition to standard uses, lets me learn actual time for tasks that I do, keeping my optimism in check! The stopwatch times are automatically saved, but can easily be deleted. There is a countdown timer which, once set, remembers the length of time set. This is another one of my favorite features, as it allows for repeated intervals without having to re-enter the amount of time. The watch can be set to beep on the hour, and there are five separate alarms, which can really help with time management. There is a screen for a second time, in case you need to keep track of the time in a different time zone. Most of the screens show the current time at the bottom. When scrolling through the screens, there is a beep. At the return to the main time screen, the beep is at a higher pitch. All these features make this my favorite watch ever! It’s still running strong after 8 years, though the band just recently broke off the pin. I replaced it with a BISONSTRAP 16mm silicone watch band, and, to my surprise, I love it even more! The new strap is of a uniform width and thickness, whereas the original band became wider and thicker at the watch face. This means that the new band leaves easy-grip edges for readjusting the watch on my wrist. The original band was stiff and curved, so when I took off the watch, it lay on its side. The new band is soft and flexible, which allows the watch to lay flat on a table when not being worn. If I like, I can put the buckle prong into one of the holes in the strap, and the watch will sit on the table like a little clock!

A very nice watch for an athlete
I bought the Casio STR300 to replace a ten year old Timex Ironman that was recently stolen. I went to the Casio because the entry level Ironman no longer does splits in the stop watch mode. Over all I've found the Casio to be a worthy replacement for keeping track of my time when I run, swim or bike. The good: First and foremost, sixty split times! That's a lot of splits, but essential for someone like me that is presently training for a triathlon by swimming laps in a pool. Second, one thing that I really like about the Casio over and above my old Timex is the way that after an hour passes by in the stop watch mode, I don't lose the hundredths of a second from the face of the watch. Once my old Timex would hit the one hour mark, the hundredths of a second numbers would disappear to make room for an hours column. Casio avoids this by putting the hours above the minutes so that it doesn't have to shift the minutes over to make room. I think is a very clever solution. Third, the price, this watch is packed with features for less than the entry level Timex Ironman. Granted, most of the features are lost on me. I'm hearing impaired so I don't really care about the five alarms. Nor do I use the countdown mode. But I don't have a whole lot of money and this watch is worth every penny that I paid for it. The bad: The build quality of this watch seems inferior to the Timex Ironman series. Maybe it just feels different and will last just as long. I won't know that until ten years down the line. If this Casio is still going, then I'll change my mind on this point. I find the button to trigger a split difficult to press. With my old Timex, it was pretty easy to hit the split button while doing a flip-kick at the end of the pool to turn around. With this thing, I miss more often than not. Often times I have to stop swimming and hit the button a few times to get it. This may be user error on my part and perhaps given enough time I will learn to hit the button in just the right way. I've only had this problem underwater. When running or cycling, hitting the button is pretty easy. If the button were as easy to hit as my old Timex was, I'd probably have given this watch 5 starts.

Great Price, Look, and Quality
I absolutely love this watch. I live an active lifestyle, and my watch has definitely taken a few beatings. However, it is very durable and only has a couple small scratches. Personally, I enjoy a larger display and this provides just that. I can just glance at it when I am running or taking a water break and it is easy to read. I am not really a fan of the color pink (or purple-pinkish on mine) but it looks great with the black and provides a pop of color that I really enjoy. It is very easy to adjust the size and the material is very comfortable. I wear my watch a little big and don't have to worry about it rubbing too much or just being uncomfortable in general. I really like the fact that it is water resistant so I don't have to worry about it getting wet if it starts raining or I am doing dishes (unlike most smart watches). I purchased mine in July of 2015 and the battery still works (which is great). For the price that you pay, you get a quality watch with a stylish look and great durability.

Great Workout Watch at a Great Price!
I ordered this watch for my running workouts and it works GREAT! You can pick if you want a 12 hour clock or a 24 hour one (I chose the 24 hour). It has a stopwatch built in, as well as an alarm system-but I don't really use that. The biggest reason I got this was because of the fact that it has a stopwatch and it's water resistant. I've ran in a few rainstorms and this thing hasn't skipped a beat! I know it has a distance feature on it as well, but I really haven't tried it out yet. It's a really cute watch and can take quite a beating. The stopwatch is the feature that I use the most and it works really well! You can even switch between modes while the stopwatch is running and it won't stop or rest-something I use a lot because I usually go running before work and have to make sure that I have plenty of time to make it back home so I can get ready for my shift. However, if you're looking for a watch that actually DOES track your distance-you might want to go with the Garmin. If you're like me and manually map out your routes and don't have the money for a $100 GPS watch-this is the way to go!

Comfortable but complicated
If you want a simple watch that has an alarm, stopwatch, and so forth, then you can get that out of this watch. It has many more features, though, that I'm sure someone can figure out but it is excessive for the amount of buttons on the watch. Pacing distances and a huge memory give it potential but I find them impossible to use due to the complicated button combinations to pull them off. It is fairly comfortable and I have no problems wearing it while I run or at work. The top buttons are kind of hard to push when your trying to hit your splits without focusing on your watch while you run, but it just takes some getting use to. I would recommend it to friends but if you search hard enough you MIGHT find something "cleaner" for the price. Also- being waterproof with cheaper watches is rarer than I thought but this one has been through swims and heavy downpours with no problems.

Nice design with multiple useful functions
It is worth every single cent I paid as a gift. Nice, reliable watch packed with so many practical functions such as: 1. Timekeeping - time, date, month, year, etc. 2. Stopwatch - elapsed time, lap/split time, etc. - Pacer signal, Stride length, etc. 3. Recall mode - to recall and delete records stored by the stopwatch mode. Good to check how well you did the last time you ran. 4. Countdown Timer 5. Alarms - more than 1 alarm can be set 6. Dual time - 2 different regions 2 different time, no need to readjust 7. Backlight 8. Auto Light Switch - backlight turns on for 1 second when you position your wrist in a certain manner.

Beautiful and practical Watch
I bought this watch for my 15 year old daughter and she loved it. The time and date are easy to set and the screen display is big enough to clearly view the time. It has many other functions like a led light, stop watch, alarms, dual time and etc. she didn't use them but it nice to know they are there just in case you need them. It is water resistant and it can be an excellent sports watch if it is worn for that purpose. I am happy with this purchase. Amazon delivered the item quickly, I received it 2 days prior the estimated date.
