Wish I got this years ago, and great tool. - Going cordless is a game changer; makes inflating bikes, lawnmowers, wheelbarrows, trailers etc. very convienent as against a 12V inflator which needs to be plugged into the car. - Using with a 5MaH battery, it goes forever and ever. Excellent battery life - High flow function and hose is very handy for camping airbeds, and child's inflatables. Half the campsite we were at recently were wondering if they could borrow it, and all were equally impressed by it. - Very accurate, I can confirm that this inflator is very accurate. Unlike my previous corded Ring branded tyre inflator, when I set this to 230 KPA, my tyre pressure is 230KPA. This is confirmed the car's own TMPS system, and also my Jako tyre pressure gauge which is well regarded as being a very accurate tool. - Well built, solid unit. Well designed also. Carry handle is ergonomic, and cable management and onboard storage for the various bits and bobs is top notch. Not that it matters, but it's a good looking tool also! The only negative point I could say is that it does not remember your usual tyre pressure, so you have to set the pressure each time. Not a big deal and adjusting the pressure is just a quick spin of the wheel. That said, it would be nice it it remembered your usual tyre pressure setting.

The best inflator after many previous poor performers. Works really well. It is a shame the pressure readings only show bar rather than PSi but can live without that. Worth buying.

Having had 2 cheaper inflators that stopped working after a seemingly short time, I decided to buy the DEWALT having had great experience with other DEWALT tools. It seems very robust, fits the usual DEWALT batteries that I have from other DEWALT tools - so no trying to find a power supply which always seemed to be a problem, much easier method of attachment to the tyre valve and easy to set the correct pressure/cut off. Altogether extremely happy with my purchase.

OK, it's expensive. Especially as it comes without a battery. But if you're buying this you've probably already invested in a DeWalt cordles setup and will have compatible batteries. It's well constructed, with clear controls and a easy to read display. Plug a battery in, turn it on and you're good to go. Change the units from BAR to KPa to PSI by pressing both buttons and rotating the dial. Rotate the dial to set the target pressure and press the start button. The compressor will whirr into life with a level of gusto that's at least in part determined by the target pressure you've set. It comes with both high pressure and high-volume hoses and adapters so it's good for all sorts of tyres as well as airbeds, inflatable toys, footballs etc. It made short work of reinflating an old wheelbarrow wheel (schrader valve) and mountain bike wheels (Presta valves). There's a needle adapter too for footballs. It supports 3 power sources, DeWalt XR 18v battery pack, cigar lighter and 240v mains. It only comes with the cigar lighter adapter though. Battery pack is the easiest, cigar lighter maybe the most convenient if you're out and about. Mains is the least likely - especially as you'll need to source your own power cable for it. If I've one gripe it's that the adapters are held on an exposed end of the compressor so the MIGHT get lost, although they're held in place pretty firmly. Theres even an LED torch you can turn on if you're wandering by the roadside at night trying to inflate your tyre... All in all a great if significantly expensive piece of kit.

It looks robust and, it is robust. I like the screw connecting for tyres rather than the “press and flip the lever” type, it made connections so simple. The displays are very easy to read and once you have waded through the multi language handbook the instructions are very easy to use. All four tyres needed air. The battery started fully charged and used about half the charge available. I have used a Michelin before, this is a step up in quality, speed and ease of use.

Very, very good indeed. Exactly what you would expect from DeWalt. Better than average, perfect. Yes. Pay more. You get what you pay for.

Lyckas även pumpa upp trycket i våra SUP:ar med denna även om det tar en hel del tid så orkar den slutligen. Så har man inte bråttom och är lat är denna bra. Pumpar för övrigt upp en gummibåt samt luftmadrasser med denna och den är smidig om man dessutom redan har Dewalt batterierna så blir det prisvärt att köpa denna. Bäst är automatiken att det är bara att ställa in aktuellt tryck och därefter så sköter den sig självt upp till detta tryck. Ett laddat batteri räcker till väldigt många pumpningar är min bedömning. Bra även att ha i bilen som reserv om punkteringen infaller.

Excellent, très pratique et remplit parfaitement sa fonction. Un outil indispensable que nous devrions avoir dans notre véhicule.

Build Quality, Size and Weight: Definitely feels like a quality DeWalt tool. The plastics are solid and everything secures neatly where it should. It's compact and it's not too heavy to haul around. I like the rubber armor as it prevents it from sliding around the cargo area. Dust and sand does tend to stick to it fairly quickly and I find myself cleaning it after every use. The only gripe I have with it is that the area where the high volume nozzle attaches and where the air intake is, is completely exposed and gathers dust and sand very easily. Speed and Runtime: Bought primarily to inflate tires after off-roading. Inflates a 2024 Subaru Forester 225/60R17 tire from 15 PSI - 33 PSI in about 3 minutes on 12V. Comfortably fills all 4 tires without a hint of overheating. Accuracy: Overall, it's pretty accurate. I noticed minor differences in kPa readings (inflates to within -1 to -4 kPa of the set pressure). The PSI reading is dead on. Supports multiple standard pressure units. Power: Running it on 12V DC power requires the engine to be on. If you car has power saving settings like mine does, make sure you optimize your car's output (on mine, the more power it needs/draws, the more the 12V socket outputs, so with the headlights off, the compressor does not work).
