Perfect for camping, hiking, weekend overnight bag, carry-on bag, school bag. Very versatile, durable and LOTS of pockets and places to hook stuff. I attached my 1st aid kit. Flashlight. Sit upon and had extra water bottles in the side pockets. Along with everything else I needed for our hike. The pack was super comfortable and feather light so it didn't add extra weight to the load. It also folds back down to a small bag when not in use. I LOVE this AND it comes in TONS of colors

Was looking for inexpensive backpack without water camel for recent 2 week group tour of Ireland. My two existing packs were either too big or small and had the pouch for water camels which adds a little extra weight. I saw this on line for $19 plus change and ordered it. Soon as it came, I knew it would be perfect and emailed info to friends who were also going on trip. They also ordered and used it. Being advised that rain is almost a daily given in Ireland, I sprayed the pack with waterproof spray. It darkened the color but who cares? I really never had the pack out in the rain as I left it on the bus each day there was heavy rain so cant say if the spray worked. I LOVED THIS PACK. Had plenty of room to store water bottles, umbrella, rain jacket, scarf, regular jacket large amt of snacks, my trecking shoes, quart bag for plane liquids, inner zippered pocket to store passport and other items you DONT want to leave in a suitcase. Our suitcases were stored under tour busses and this pack let me carry all I needed for each day of touring. Walking city tours, museums, etc to rugged coastal trail at Giants Causeway. When fully packed for plane ride, the pack was heavy but the zippers and materials stood the challenge. GREAT JOB of producing a good travel day pack for a very reasonable price.

My hiking is the urban variety - trekking 7-8 miles daily across NYC streets. I'm used to carrying a big ole multi-laptop/carry-all/perfect for flying and the day-to-day grind, but it feels "deathly monstrous and bulky when walking" type of bag. I decided to change it up to see if a hiking bag was more appropriate. Definitely glad I did. The Neekfox allowed me to have something more functional for casual walks around the city (and more importantly, outside!) while still carrying my daily supplies (laptop, Switch, some cables, and on a recent occasion a Roland JU-08 sound module for a recording session). The first thing I noticed when opening the box -- this is a surprisingly well-made bag and a great deal of care went into making it. It’s not what I expected at the price point (an incredible value). The bag was folded into itself when first unwrapped - optimizing space even before it's being used to transport goods / food / water. Very cool. Pros: - Bag is super-lightweight and has a "barely-there" quality to it while still being sturdy. The description is on point. - There are multiple compartments to separate food items from larger bulk. - Reflective material on the backpack (I didn't have much use for this, but it's certainly not detracting from the bag and adds an - Water-resistant. I was able to go through some light rain with no issues. It doesn’t qualify as water-proof (nor is it advertised as such) Cons (and yes, there are a few): - The size. 35L is actually perfect for a daypack (and there's no issue here considering it's in the product description). The problem for me is I overpack anytime I go anywhere. This is more a product "want" than anything else and if you're in the market for a 35L (should be good for most daily activity), this is perfect. - The straps feel thin at first. While this is likely to be a positive for many other people, I'm used to bulkier straps and this took a little bit of getting used to. If you’re used to thinner straps this is a non-issue. Again it’s more of a personal preference than an actual “con”. I gave this 5/5 because the Cons are really points of preference vs. actual qualms.

I’m giving this a four star because I just received it and haven’t used it to be able to judge that aspect. The item I received looks beautiful. I ordered the orange. Nice shade. Unisex. My son loves it. It feels durable for light weight not sure how it will hold with heavy things in it. But if I have to judge based on the texture of the fabric, it will hold semi heavy items - clothes, snacks, few books etc. my son will be using this for school, we’ll see how long it lasts. (He’s in 3rd grade). Very good as a personal Luggage for flying, good for hiking trips, camping, overnight bags etc. very spacious. Has a laptop segment inside. Has a few other pocket/compartments. Overall it’s a very nice backpack. You won’t be making a mistake with this.

I have three of these. Have been using the first one regularly for a year. Prefer it over pricier daypacks with padded backs unless I'm carrying my laptop. The fabric is textured and durable, more so than my first packable daypack. The daypack itself is lightweight, very sturdy, large, has lots of pockets for organizing, and takes a minimal amount of space in addition to its contents, which makes it perfect for shoving under an airline seat or taking in a safari jeep. I love the purple color so much I bought one as a spare, then had to buy a gray one to take on safari where it performed like a champ.

I bought this pack in anticipation of a trip to Yosemite next year. So far I've used in one week on "urban hikes" and it's been great. With items in the pack it wasn't too hot against my back, even with temps in the high 80s and low 90s. There are two smaller compartments on the front that make organizing easy. Some reviews have given negative remarks about the lack of a rigid back making things bunch at the bottom and be uncomfortable. I had no comfort issues, and the lack of the rigid back is what makes this pack fold up so small and easily fit into a suitcase. If that feature is important to you, a rigid back is something you likely have to forego. The price point of this pack is very attractive, so I figured it was a good investment to try before doing a bigger trip. I have at least one more trip before Yosemite, so I'll continue with my evaluation. But so far this pack is meeting the need. Would recommend.

I love this bag. It's well made and has a bunch of compartments. Though it's large, it folds up into it's own smallish pouch. I carry it in my suitcase, when I travel, in the event I am told my bag weighs too much. All I have to do is pull this out and fill it with things to bring the weight of my main bag down. If I'm carrying a purse, it goes in there, too, so I still only have the one carry-on. Once I am where I'm going, it gets put to use on day trips and trips to market or the grocery store. It's super light weight but sturdy. The shoulder straps are wide and comfortable and easily adjustable. The only thing bogus about it is the whistle. It doesn't work but it's integral to the latch (if you want to use the chest strap) so you can't take it off.

I got this to wear in Vancouver BC for a convention i was attending. The unit is very visible and stands out in a crowd. i had left it folded up in my carry on and took it out to use around town at at the convention as a day pack rather than lug around a heavy more durable pack. The fabric is light and the whole bag will sag low on your back with any weight inside. There are straps for around the waist but they do little to help since the bag is so floppy but that said, it did help keep the bag from tossing around on my back as I walked. the side net holders can hold water bottles but any thing tall could fall out. the zippers feel fragile and i was ultra careful with them so they would not break on me. If i was as casual as with any other pack, the zippers would have jammed. This is for light weight carrying. A jacket, some papers, snacks, and water but after that it becomes dubious and i wouild not trust much weight being born on that fabric or zippers. Any thing sharp would have certainly ripped though. it looks nice in general and I was able to use the whole week with no problems since i understood it's limitations and used it accordingly. It was basically disposable and as long s it lasted the trip I'd be happy. Luckily, I can still use it but only for rare light day pack needs and do not expect it to last more than a few times even with gentle treatment. It rained once pretty hard while using it back in my home state and things inside got wet- so it's not really that water prof either. Lol- -pretty good endorsement huh? But for some reason I still like it- maybe it's the cute name and cheerful color.

La he comprado para llevarla a la playa y para eso me va a sobrar. La he estrenado en una ruta mezcla de senderismo, playa y media montaña de varias horas y me sorprendió por su comodidad. Es muy grande y no pesa nada. También destacaría lo bonita que es en un azul claro muy alegre. En resumen, que estoy muy contento con ella.

Après 6 ans d'utilisation je peux vous assurer que c'est un bon sac pour la vie quotidienne d'un cycliste. Le sac rouge orange est bien visible. Ce sac est bien pensé, plusieurs petites poches dissociées et un grand mono espace que l'on peut charger d'une manière incroyable avec des charges lourdes comme des courses par exemple. A force de tirer à ras bord plus que de raison sur la fermeture éclaire, elle a fini par céder par ma faute après 6 ans d'usage intensif. Mais quelle soulagement de le retrouver encore disponible à la vente 6 ans après. Je viens d'en racheter deux.

Cela fait maintenant un peu plus de 1 an que j'ai ce sac. Je l'utilise au quotidien pour faire de la randonnée ou mes courses. Il a supporté des kilos et des kilos de courses sans jamais céder ! Il est vraiment très grand et permet de ranger beaucoup de choses dedans. J'en suis totalement satisfaite !
