I'd like to use this component at my office. am i able to connect my existing ceiling speakers or are the toshiba speakers hardwired? thanks!

Not "as is", you would have to splice your ceiling speaker wires to the connectors on the Toshiba speaker wires since they are needed to connect to the system--it uses a connector I've not seen before, but if you or someone you know are capable of spicing wires correctly (soldering would be best for sound quality and permanency) it would be possible to make it work.

How long are speaker wires?

You can always cut them and splice in additional speaker wire with wire nuts. Even lamp cord will work.

How would I connect a bluetooth transitter?

It should already be bluetooth, no add ons required
