Kichler Gen I 7.5" LED Flush Mount Light, White

If you are stuck with these terrible fixtures in your home, these are what you need to replace them. Simple drop in replacements. They work great and brightened up my kitchen, with one dead light and the other three well on their way. Look good. Mounting was perfect replacement (replaced old ones with same exact brand and product number). Wiring seemed high quality. All that said, I haaaaaate the concept of these fixtures. It's like someone said, "Let's increase the complexity of changing a lightbulb to ridiculous new levels." Builders using these just want to inflict unnecessary pain on the owners when these things die. No one wants to mess around with the home's wiring to change a bulb. They wanna take a few seconds unscrewing the old bulb and a few screwing in the new one. Noooooot shutting breakers off, pulling solid wires down from the fixture, futzing with wire nuts and wiring, try to jam that stuff back up in there, getting the LED plate back in place, then flip the breaker back on, and hope it all works. Ugh. This is a home builder issue, the product itself works great if you are saddled with having to deal with fixtures like this. To lessen the hassle, while I was up in there, I used some two and three way Wago wire connectors. Two way for the green ground and when there was only one white and one black wire in the ceiling (one fixture of the four). Three ways when there were pairs of whites and blacks (the other three). Why some were paired wires and one wasn't? Whooooo knows. It should be mandatory for builders using these terrible lights to install these connectors. Now, the next time these lights die, it'll be super easy. Pop old light wire out. Pop new light wire in. No monkeying around with the hard copper house wiring. Take the time to install connectors while up changing a light like this. Your future self will compliment your past prescience and brilliance. Now who knows if you'll have single or paired black/white house wiring. The three way Wagos work with just two wires in it also. Three connectors per light. One for green/earth/ground. Will just have two wires (from house and from light). If black/white is single, same concept. If paired black and whites, connect both of same color from house, and that color wire from the light. You'll thank me later. Future self will thank you too. Despite my feelings of hatred that these things exist, this product is the exact thing I needed (x4). Hope to not need any more for a loooooong time, but I have four more of these cursed things in my house. This will be the product I buy when the time comes. Great quality and an affordable price. Brightens up shower and was easy to install. Bought more for other bathrooms.

My 6-year-old house is starting to lose these Kichler LEDs one at a time. These replacements are perfect. They are not cheap, but they match exactly with what I have, and they are super easy to install. Remove the twist on lens, loosen two Phillips screws and twist to loosen the fixture, 3 color coded wires with nuts - then re-assemble in reverse order. 5 minutes or less.

These worked out great. Ordered Saturday, came in on Sunday. Pulled the old ones out. Took off 3 wire nuts. Attached light wires to house wiring. Wire nuts back on. Test lights before completing install. They worked, finished install. Took maybe 10 minutes total. Very happy. Now I need 5 more!!!

Was easy to install in my ceiling the size was just right for my kitchen . Quality is amazing it’s definitely worth the money.

Matched exactly and was really easy to swap out. A little brighter than the others, which is to be expected, but not too noticeable.
