This is a Geniune DeWalt Battery.
Based on a few reviews I was worried that this was not the real deal but it is a genuine Dewalt battery with it's nice heavy weight and durable feeling and labeling that all matches my other batteries. The price is pretty steep for these but I prefer to have a Mix of real ones and third party ones on hand when doing Jobs. I know this one will last because all of my DeWalt batteries have lasted for years. About my only Gripe is that it comes with barely any charge in it. The last LED was barely lit so I made sure to charge is as soon as it came. I am going to run a capacity test on it soon and will get back and update this review.

Great Dewalt battery. Will not charge with an off brand charger so I had to buy a Dewalt charger.

Great but Read this
Works great however I found out why they keep failing, when using this battery it has a indicator of charge if it's fully charged it has three illuminated dots. If you want this battery to last and not have to buy another one, when two of the dots have been dimmed from the amount of use stop there and recharge your battery after it cools down. Using this battery until it stops on its own shortens the life dramatically. I use this on my weedeater and of course only using two of the three dots the runtime is shorter however charging at that point Will make the battery last a long long time.

Great price on DeWalt 5amp battery
Great price on DeWalt 5amp 29v battery. Saved almost $100 over local purchase. Charged like normal with good run time on 12” chainsaw. Recommend

This battery works great. Fits all of my other Dewalt 20V products.

Love this battery upgrade. Helps last longer and its more powerful than my previous one. Just be cautious its bigger so its slightly heavy if you using long period of time. that can get annoying. other than that highly recommend.

Good for the price
Doesnt say XR on the label but work just as well. Picks up grinder, blower, and sawsall pretty well. Cheaper than the xr and they run abput the same battery time

Charges to 100%. Good product. Have two others dated manufacture 2016 and these still perform and hold their charge. So would expect this one will last as well as these old ones.
