This board works great (when doing watercolors)
I'm taking classes in watercolor painting from a professional artist who uses this board. I bought one and I love it - super convenient to mix paints right on your desktop. Quality wise - excellent!

This product is NOT suitable for fine art painting.
I've been painting on anodized aluminum panels for 20 years with great success. These panels do not have an exposed or primed aluminum surface to paint on, rather, they are coated with a plastic that does not have properties conducive to adhesion of paint or adhesives. The product description is misleading.
