Nice ambient sounds, Quality ones. Perfect for ensuring my baby sleeps well in the busy neighbourhood with lots of noises, It helps us to fall asleep as well at times 😉 Buy this if you have rechargable batteries or Occasional use with normal batteries.

Poor quality. Will stop working in 2-4days max mine stopped working in 10min and return window is only 5days.. after which neither Amazon responds nor the seller.. do not buy. Easier to use YouTube music white noise!

I wanted one that plugs in and lasts all night long but this barely goes an hour and only works on battery. Not worth it in my opinion

Very good and compact. I struggled with finding a simple, classic noise machine that does not have a million other capabilities (why does every machine want to be a smartphone?) after unfortunately damaging my old Brookstone Tranquil Moments sleep machine. Another plus is that it is battery-powered, since I do not prefer to leave anything plugged in overnight. Does a good job putting me to sleep but the power on light is a little bright and cannot be turned off, which can be a little bit of an impediment if you’re sensitive to light when falling asleep.

My husband and I are not great sleepers but do better at home with an ambient sound machine to filter/block the sounds of traffic, trains, slamming car doors, barking dogs or neighbors loudly enjoying the weekend! LOL When we travel we now use this "pocket size" version.It has great volume for such a tiny thing and takes up almost no space on a night stand or dresser top.On a cruise recently it really saved our vacation.Our next-door neighbors returned to their cabin about 2 am each night and partied long afterwards.I had taken the Sound Machine along but didn't think I'd need it on the upscale ship on which we were sailing.Finally on the 3rd night when they woke us again I unpacked and turned on the machine and we slept great both that night and every night thereafter.My husband says it as important for future trips as bringing our Passports!

Works well. Great size, doesn't take up much room. Can easily throw in diaper bag for naps elsewhere or travelling. Was using an app on the iPad with wifi turned off because couldn't find a white noise machine that didn't have an auto shut off after 45 mins. The volume from 1 to 2 is a good amount, then it jumps a bit too high at 3. We keep it at 2 for bedtime all night to drown out noises from the kitchen or my older daughter's voice in the hallway when she's getting ready for bed. Sometimes when we are entertaining, we put it to 3. Bought a second one for my mom's house when she's babysitting and baby takes a nap there in the playpen. Have had for a few weeks now, use all night long and for two naps a day, batteries still going.

This helps with white noise. I have tinnitus and the soft sounds from this machine help me fall asleep. It has a timer on it so that it shuts off automatically after a set amount of time. I like that it is small enough to fit under my pillow and it does not bother my husband with the noise.

I have been debating on purchasing this sound machine for my baby for a few weeks. I was about to bite the bullet and purchase the Hush by Dohm sound machine that everyone on YouTube raves about. However, on Amazon, the Hush had some pretty mixed reviews so I thought I'd just buy this Homedics one instead. So glad I did!! My big concern was would it be loud enough for my baby to use when out shopping, walk, restaurant etc. It is much loaded than my Samsung Galaxy S9+ I normally use to play whitenoise from an app. WAY LOUDER which is awesome. It still is soft enough to use nightly in the nursery. Also love it runs on batteries instead of having to charge it every 12h... no new mom has time to remember to charge the battery. If you are looking for a white moose machine for the nursery, as well as travel.... get this one!
