For severe sciatica and leg pain, would y'all recommend red or blue?

Blue works best for me. I wake up with the worst leg cramps and it works so fast. I never tried the RED. Love this product.

Can the roll on version be refilled?

No it can not be refilled. You can how ever buy a new one when that is gone.

Is this just for muscle soreness or does it also help to relax muscle knots too?

It really just helps muscle soreness ! I went to physical therepy to help with muscle knot and the excercises given me really helped . Also a deep tissue message. I know your pain good luck!
