Pro Elec PEL00901 4-Gang Plastic E MPty Cable Reel Dru m, 50 m

So far this is doing what it was bought for. I had a 50mtr extension cable that was been used outdoors for cleaning the car, power tools, hedge cutting etc. The old reel was in bits, and was a real pain to tidy up after use. I thought I'd give blank reel a go, plus most of the existing reviews were positive. It was very straightforward transferring my old cable on to the new reel. If your confident wiring a plug, wiring this won't cause you too many issues. So far its exactly what I expected for the price point and it's doing the job it was intended for. Recommended.

Excellent value product robust enough for 50 meters

Combined this with a spare long length of cable that I already had, to produce an organised extension lead. Quality seems OK, don't know about longevity, but it won't be in really frequent use anyway. Pleased.

It's okay will do the trick, I have put 25mtrs cable on from the old one, photos enclosed. It doesn't feel very rugged so I wouldn't trust it with 50mtrs. Very disappointed that it does not come with a rubber grommet to thread the cable through onto the body to avoid chaffing and give it a bit of weather protection. I think it is expensive for what it is so not worth the money
