Sturdy yet comfortable.
Heavy duty yet very comfortable to wear overnight. Purchased for pain when moving my wrist. Kept it immobile yet didn't feel confined or uncomfortable. Adjustable straps are sturdy. Great product.

Perfect. I'm so happy Futuro doesn't try to 'improve' these!
So many other companies try to 'improve' their products over time and each version is different. You'll know when Futuro changes it when they change the color. Fortunately this gray colored model is the same exact wrist immobilizer I've been ordering for more a decade or more. Because I love the design and have grow accustomed to it. The only thing they changed was the color of their label that went from silver/gray to yellow. Everything else is the same. Thank you! I use these wrist immobilizers to prevent carpal tunnel syndrome, in which I'm quite prone to get while using a computer with a mouse. They work well with a smaller mouse such as the Logitech Anywhere2 or Logitech G9x laser. I wash them every so often, but eventually they will start to shred apart after years and years of use. You can cut off the shreds, but it gets worn all over and keeps shredding. These gray colored models are much better than the very old beige models of the past, but they're certainly not perfect. For the price and how long they last I have absolutely no complaints! :-)

For carpal tunnel/extensor tendonitis symptoms
If you are not sure if you have carpal tunnel, there are several good videos on youtube made by doctors, chiros, or physical therapists explaining symptoms and treatments. Do not assume you need surgery. Also, don't hope it just goes away either. Wear this at night and see if it improves. I have such bad pain in my left hand, on the back, from index and middle fingers down the back of my hand. Even though it felt awkward, I wore this brace while sleeping to keep from bending my hand into a harmful position. It was helping, so I started wearing it during the day also. I had to pad certain areas that were rubbing (on the top of my arm where the edge stitching is rubbing and wearing the skin off like a scratch). But I noticed that having it on kept me from doing things that caused pain and because of that it began to heal. Yes, it is awkward. No, you can't do a lot of things with it on. Maybe you shouldn't be doing those things anyway. Or you can take it off and put it back on. It is like a cast. I noticed that resting the hand and not holding my phone tightly in my left hand was helping. I had to limit cell phone use to rest the hand. It is not fun but the pain was very bad and this helped. The pain is not gone, but I live alone and cannot stop doing everything. But it makes me aware of what hurts and what not to do. I highly recommend this brace and don't wait until you are in pain like I did. Powering through and hoping it goes away is a bad idea. The youtube videos have stretching exercises and be sure to try those gently and work your way up to more stretches during the day. If this does not help you, go see a doctor. I have early symptoms in my right hand on top of bad pain in left. So I am wearing two braces at night now. One is easy, two is difficult unless you sleep on your back. They also velcro to my blanket sometimes, but I just deal with it because I have to get better. I was surprised that I have this but do use my phone for hours a day. I can use the computer instead with my right hand and a mouse to rest the left hand. I wonder how many other people have this and don't know. If you think you may have this, try a solution and put that phone down. Good luck. UPDATE: Five stars. I realized that my pain was from extensor tendonitis, which is why my the back of my hand hurt so much. I kept wearing this and resting the hand as much as possible. It took some time, but the pain and swelling improved a little bit each day. It hurt to straighten my fingers or to bend wrist upward or use the hand to grip just about anything. It just needed to be kept in a position where no bending was happening. It really works, it does not need to be super tight. I keep the top part loose so it doesn't dig into my arm. So with patience it is healing. I am able to remove the brace to do gentle finger movements each day and monitor progress. Definitely wear while sleeping. This has exceeded my expectations and I heartily recommend it. Just be sure to measure properly and get the correct size.

Good for my carpal-tunnel finger tingling
I have used right and left hand Futuro wrist stabilizers while sleeping for about a month and am very pleased. They are comfortable and stabilize my wrist motion very well. However, I still get nighttime finger tingling because the stabilizers don't control forearm rotation which also seems to irritate my nerve and contribute to my finger tingling. However, by minimizing my wrist movement the stabilizers help a lot. Although my finger tingling is not cured, it is much reduced. I would have given the stabilizers 5 stars but the design is not perfect. The central strap has a large velcro tab that attaches to an elastic band that wraps around my wrist. The support it provides around my wrist is good but pulling that velcro tab off when I want to remove the stabilizer is difficult because the attachment is very firm and pulling on it mainly stretches the elastic band. It is the same kind of problem as punching your way out of a paper bag. I solved the problem by attaching a small piece of velcro loop (rather than hook) to the tab that masks the tab's hook surface and reduces it's size by about 50%. This makes it easier to pull off and if in the future the attachment becomes too loose, I can increase the hook surface area by reducing the masked area. I highly recommend these wrist stabilizers but be careful to not make them too tight, which can cause more harm than good.

Works well and is attractive
I have owned a number of Futuro wrist braces over the years and due to a recent wrist break needed to get a new one as the older ones were a bit frayed and the edges uncomfortable. This is well made and just what I needed. They last for years with frequent use.

Excellent construction, great materials and support where I needed it
I did a dumb thing and tried to scoot off a sidewalk with a scooter and fell forward and broke the fall with my dominant hand. Combine the impact to my wrist with heavy day-to-day use of a mouse and laptop keyboard and you have a recipe for continuous pain. I spent at least three hours looking at the different versions of wrist supports that Amazon has to offer and initially was looking for the least expensive one. But after looking at all the negative reviews of the different brands, I decided to go with the ONE reputable brand, 3M, with the least likely chance of containing heavily compensated reviews. I have very skinny wrists but was able to strap it down without pinching anywhere. I've now worn this wrist stabilizer to sleep and throughout the day and it's been as comfortable as you can expect. However, it is difficult to use your mouse and keyboard with it on. This model of wrist stabilizer is exactly the same as the Ace (3M product) https://www.amazon.com/Ace-Deluxe-Right-Wrist-Stabilizer/dp/B074P9L1Y2, except that the Ace brand only has one size (You can find product and packaging pictures on 3M's website and do a side by side comparison also). I also bought the Zouyue (https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B081SWTQX) brand for a relative because it had more positive reviews. I tried it on as well and can tell you first hand that the ergonomics, quality of the materials, construction and fit of the Futuro is FAR better than the Zouyue.

The best carpal tunnel slplint/support I have used. Highly recommended..
Relieves symptoms of my carpal tunnel syndrome and very comfortable to use. I tried alot of wrist stabilizer / splint cheaper than this but it doesnโt provide much comfort and support. The 3M Futuro wrist stabilizer is the best so far.

Pain relief
Great fit, and much needed for those who suffered from carpal tunnel. Iโm just on the border between a medium and a large so I went with a large. So far so good. Really helps with the pain and healing from wrist pain.
