Review: Sturdy and beautiful! Love them! - These arrived well packaged with no damage. The planters themselves are very sturdy, with suits in each corner that for me, makes it very easy to see how much water is in the trays. I did almost over water once because the top soil was dry and I forgot to check the tray but that's operator error! Drainage is spot on for the plants needs. The planter and tray fit well together. To me, these are beautiful and sturdy enough they will last me years. The picture shows young chives. I planted them from seed and covered with plastic until sprouted. They offer great value for the price.

These arrived well packaged with no damage. The planters themselves are very sturdy, with suits in each corner that for me, makes it very easy to see how much water is in the trays. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Nice sturdy pots with great drainage and airflow for healthy plants

I’m an avid gardener and grow a large number of plants each year. This season I’m growing over 300 plants for the garden and about a dozen indoors, so I go through a lot of pots. This six-piece set (six pots with six matching bases) is made from a nice, thicker plastic that feels sturdier than many standard nursery pots. The bases do not snap on but fit perfectly with notches at the corners to keep the pot from moving around in its base. I really like the simple, unobtrusive design. The square shape is especially useful—it fits better into plant trays and works well in corners, maximizing growing space. At less than five dollars per pot, I plan to order more. The listing states they are BPA-free, but I couldn’t find any markings on the pots confirming that. The only markings present are the size and two Chinese characters that translate to “Eternal Prosperity” or “Forever Flourishing.” From what I could gather, the maker of these pots’ brand which is associated with these markings is Changsheng, founded in 1999, which manufactures plastic, ceramic, and horticultural products. They’re known for making pots designed to promote healthy root growth and prevent root circling—especially important for plants like bonsai and orchids. The drainage holes and side slits are slightly larger than on some other pots, but I consider that a benefit. The design encourages excellent drainage and healthier root systems. To prevent smaller soil particles from washing out during planting, I recommend pre-moistening your substrate in a bucket (or in its bag) until it’s damp enough to form a ball without dripping water when squeezed. Then fill the pot—this works very well with these larger openings. My only minor issue is that the actual dimensions run slightly smaller than advertised, though not enough to significantly impact usability. Overall, these are well-designed, sturdy pots at a very reasonable price, and I’ll definitely be purchasing more.
