Forum Novelties Military Medal (Bars)-Standard

I bought 2 for my 2 costumes in a few good men. These are adult sized, and work well for a costume. I did have a very thick wool uniform jacket, and it wasn't durable enough to be removed and put back in many times. But I expected this and bought two for this reason. It's a good product for a good price, just what it is meant to be nothing more.

The ribbons look original on my military costume. Very nice.

They are just what they look like. A little bigger than I expected -- probably good for a teen or adult shirt, but a bit big on a child's shirt. Held on with three push pins -- that would be the one downside. The clasps for the pins are similar to those that hold a stud earring in place (but much larger). They can be a bit uncomfortable as they rub on the skin or an undershirt. I put a little duct tape over each one, and that solved the issue.

Look real, great quality and perfect for a costume

Price is good. Especially if you have left over gift card balance to make the price zero. The ribbons are slightly longer than actual military ribbons, but they can be cut down to proper size.

This was an inexpensive way to make a theatrical costume look more authentic. I don't know if I missed it in the description, but all of the ribbons are attached to a backing and then just pin on as a whole to the shirt. It looked fine from stage, but a little corny up close. Also, one of the ribbons fell off (just poor gluing) within a couple of days.

Worked perfectly for Colonel Mustard costume.

If you want to buy replica ribbons (or real ones) you have to pay WAY more than the asking price for these... I checked everywhere and these were the cheapest/best option for some basic dress-up. They look believable enough, although I had to trim the backing board down a little bit.

They suited the purpose for which they were bought, they arrived on time so all good.
