Cook time of whites being 12 min was right on, but the yolks aren't fully set at 8 but were at 10. We mix spices and cheese with the yolks to make a little omelet in the middle of the whites and now my kids are excited about eggs. Also, the egg yokes can become a little rubbery in texture. But the shapes make a nice accent to a food presentation. I am working on a deviled egg recipe for this but it requires using twice the number of eggs. I must make the shaped eggs as directed and then discard the shaped yolks. Then use the yolks from traditionally cooked hard boiled eggs to make the deviled egg filling to fill the shaped whites. It makes 12 shaped, bite-sized deviled eggs.
