Great material, great fit and the collar is not too tall.

I often buy these items at pro shops and the quality of this pull over quarter zip matches that of the top brand names. Light weight, comfortable and non binding makes it good for any activity and looks good in any casual setting. The value is excellent.

Great fit

This shirt feels great when wearing it, very soft material that appears to be decent quality material. The zipper works well. It washes well…also important because I don’t want to have to iron it after running it through the washer and dryer. The cuffs of the sleeves and bottom of the shirt have tight-fitting stretchy elastic or spandex, rather than fitting loosely (in the way a t-shirt fits). This is neither a positive or negative, just an feature to keep in mind. While I’m fine with tight-fitting sleeve cuffs, I don’t typically get shirts that have a tight-fitting bottom, so I’m still getting used to this…but this is a personal preference, not a knock against this shirt. For as much as I like this shirt, it’s a bit pricey. IMO, this shirt seems more like it should be at a price point that’s maybe 25% less.

Was happy to try out this brand - checking out their website I like their overall style of comfort yet fashionable. Reminded me of some southern style brands I've purchased from recently. I was worried about the sizing - I'd purchased other quarter zips that ended up being too bloated in size. I was pleased with the sizing - it was not fully cut and not slim cut - a happy medium that wasn't too form fitting. The collar isn't too tall that it flops over which was nice - that's been a problem with other quarter zips I've bought in the past. And design wise, the white zipper on the color I ordered really made it pop and dressed it up a bit. I earned a few complements while wearing it the first time. One area to be aware of is the polyester and the smell. I think most are aware by now that you should wash before wearing. That can be optional in some cases, but don't skip it in this case if you are affected by scents. I wore it for a few hours and quickly realized it needed a good wash before wear. Overall a good quarter zip in size and finish. As for value - it's certainly premium priced. I'm going to wait and see how it washes and wears over time. If it keeps its form without stretching or pilling, and continues looking nice over time, I would consider purchasing again. For premium price I expect premium quality, so waiting to see how it wears first.

Johnnie O makes many weights and styles. I did not like the one I ordered because it was polyester. Very light weight and flimsy. I reordered one in cotton and lycocell that I love.
