Is this trash can tapered (i.e. is it narrower at the base than at the top?) i have 13”wx8”dx22”h space for a trashcan...

The hole in the base of the trash can sliding draw is 8.5 x 12. and the can fits with a little room to spare.

is this a 20 quart or 27 quart? the descriptions are confusing. and what are the correct measurements for the QT27

had the same issue when I tried to purchase. I don't know what size this specific item is but what I do know is that the photo isn't correct. What I would do is review the knape & vogt website and find the item number of the item you need. Cross reference that to amazon and ignore the photos. I called support at knape and amazon and had someone from knape review the amazon listing on their end. This resulted in me finding the correct can.
