These are NOT the same sweatpants they used to have!
Wow, how can you mess up this bad? These are NOT the same sweatpants they used to have! We ordered from this same place, same company, same way on Amazon by pushing "reorder this item" and they are completely different pants. Knock-offs maybe? Our previous ones were awesome and thick, nicely made BUT these are horrible: they are paper thin with no fleece or felt on the inside, big thick exposing nasty stinky rubber waistband, they fit really odd in all the wrong places. I should return them but seems more a hassle than anything.Guess I'll try and wear them as scrap pants I suppose. I see this a lot on Amazon lately, you can order one thing from the same place and it's great and then the next order is completely different.

little too big, loose, and baggy fit...
I bought this for my son in High School, who wears adult size small but the fit was little too big in every way.My son is 5'7 and just around 100 lbs.WHAT I LIKE:[+] It's 100% cotton[+] It's lightweight and comfortableWHAT I DON'T LIKE:[-] It's not true to its size and it's big and baggy[-] The material is little thinner than a typical sweatpants[-] There's no fleece lining insideI was very close to returning this due to the fit but my son decided to wear it at home as a lounging pants because of its comfort. I am very disappointed with its fit but my son is still growing so it might fit him better next year.THE BOTTOM LINE:2 out of 5 stars. I don't recommend this sweatpants due to the fit and thin quality material without fleece lining. If this sweatpants still meets your need, I suggest that you order 1 size down.Hope this was useful... and if it was, please click on the helpful button below. Thank you!

Don't buy these -- you can get a better version of the same pant elsewhere on Amazon
Like so many others here, I'm fed up with these pants. The waistband thread rips out at first washing, and at third washing the fabric has pulled away from the waistband elastic. By the time you get it out of the dryer the threads have encircled the legs and you can't get them apart. There is a solution, though it will cost more and is not Prime-eligible: Look up Champion Men's Closed-Bottom Jersey Pant (yes, it's exactly the same description as this pant here). The ASIN (Amazon Standard Identification Number) is B003XDTAWU. The model number is p2235. The waistbands are made differently; they are much more durable and have given me much less trouble. They are made in Honduras, whereas the rip-apart pants on this page are made in El Salvador.Unfortunately, the better ones cost $17.90 plus $6.99 shipping. But for people who rely on these pants as my husband does, they are much more reliable and worth the extra charge.

This might have been the most disappointing pair of sweats ...
This might have been the most disappointing pair of sweats I have ever purchased. The material is some blend rather than the all cotton sweats I have owned in the past. The strings that are meant to hold the pant up are a complete joke, made of cheap material, they want to break the first time I cinch them up. The cut of the pant kind of flares out round the seat and tapers down towards the ankle. A cheap imitation of the old sweats that used to be available in athletic stores. Definitely not what I was looking for, and I ordered two of them. It seems that sporting goods stores want you to buy a $75 pair of designer sweat pants which don't feel right going to the gym in. I could not find basic cotton sweatpants that fit the way I prefer so I opted to buy from a picture from Amazon, and though the picture seemed to be what I was looking for, it was not in fact what I expected.

the only sweatpants that meet my needs
I've tried several different sweatpants over the years and having used them at the gym, for playing badminton, as sleep/daily wear etc. etc. I've come down to some key requirements. These are probably the only sweatpants that fit all of them:1> full-loop inner drawstring at the waist (full-loop: not a split drawstring that could get twisted in the dryer or lost in the seam by mistake; I don't even tie it - just pull it a bit and leave the rest to the elastic in the seam) (inner: not an outer drawstring that would lurk from under my gym t-shirt)2> comfy ankle elastic (comfy: not a tight-fit at the ankle - so it's easy to pull on and off especially after an exhausting workout/game) (elastic: not a drawstring at the ankles that I would have to constantly conscious about while moving around in the gym or any new place I go to)3> light-weight material (it's not heavy and/or warm - just ok to keep the cold at bay but it's not built for that)4> not-irritable (and polyester irritates you, these come in a color variant with more cotton)5> have held up pretty well over 6 months of constant use and machine wash+dry (may have faded a bit but the discoloration must have been uniform to have gone quite unnoticed (talking solely about the granite heather variant - haven't tried the others)) and look like they'll last me at least a year.Considering that I am very lazy at writing reviews, I must say I'm a very satisfied customer. I'm ordering 2 more of these sweatpants since even after 6 months I could not find another product to match my sort of specific requirements. If only they came with a length option I would have ordered some for my dad, who wears the same waist but is shorter in height and such closed-ankle sweatpants cannot be altered like the open-ankle ones. At the price-point I highly recommend them to anyone looking for a decent pair of sweatpants.

Avoid these garments because they are not as advertised.
I initially was happy with these sweatpants. After a couple months though, I now realize that these definitely are NOT 100% cotton as specifically advertised. At first, I thought the discomfort I experienced when wearing them perhaps was due to some new-fabric sizing that did not wash out completely. This obviously polyester blend is uncomfortable because the fibers rub the skin and also stick into the skin. They have become even more uncomfortable with additional washings.

Awesomely Comfy
I have been looking for 100% cotton sweats that aren't heavy fleece forever. My kids spent hours one Christmas trying to find me a pair. I had given up on finding them, until I noticed these. Exactly what I wanted, to the point that I ordered a second pair, and will most likely order a third! As a matter of fact, I am wearing a pair as I write this!
