Well, it said it was compatible with the video/AR AI glasses so I definitely needed a better power and connection solution because my RayNeo’s, Viture Luma Ultra’s with neckband, and Rokid AR translation glasses use a load of power. The neckband for the Luma Ultra’s might as well be a small laptop around my neck for the level of power it draws. The issue I wasn’t fully aware of is that instead of HDMI inputs as is on everything else I have, this is the only device running DisplayPort connections. It comes with a DP cable but I pretty much need a DP to HDMI adapter to make this work easily with what I have and still be portable. This isn’t really that bulky, but if you want to turn it into a portable thing it will take a few items including at minimum a high capacity graphene or similar 20k mAh battery pack and a sling pouch or backpack to carry this with because it won’t be pocket sized but it will help on a roadtrip. If you own the neckband, then you already know how fast it pulls the watts and that you need a 65w charger at least for it to work properly without getting an incompatibility warning due to the power draw on your iPhone 16 pro max.

Thai is a good option for use with your pc if you want to save some money over going with Sony’s version. The hookup is straight forward and as long as your pc hardware meets the system requirements for the VR hardware, it’s basically plug and play.

It works well enough, no connection issues or loss of signal, I am able to play my Steam games with my PSVR2 headset which is exactly why I got this. I would recommend it plus the aluminum shell keeps the temps down and the blue color is nice because it makes it easier to find on my desk which can get messy sometimes.

Got this to use with my PSVR2 on PC and it's been solid so far. The setup was pretty straightforward-- just plug everything in and you're good to go. No complicated drivers or anything like that which I appreciated since I'm not super tech savvy. The power delivery seems consistent and I haven't had any of those annoying drops or flickering issues I was getting before. One thing I noticed is that it gets slightly warm during use but nothing concerning. Also works well with my AR glasses when I want to use those instead-- the power output handles both setups without issue. The USB 3.0 connection definitely helps with lag, everything feels responsive. Only minor complaint is the cable length could be a bit longer for my setup, but its manageable. Overall pretty happy with this adapter and would recommend it if you're looking to use your PSVR2 with PC gaming.
