Great piece of kit with good range and connection for different controllers. Was looking to buy a differeny color to match but its use is whats more important. Plug and play and easy pairing. Could have more designs and colorway. Compact and easy to carry around. Great value for money if you want to use a controller for different games/console

highly recommend this adapter, especially for the price (cheaper than most 3rd party controllers), and allows you to use existing controllers. I have used this with my Nintendo Switch to use different controllers to use it in TV mode, and it works perfectly! Currently using my Stadia controllers (updated to bluetooth) in place of Pro controllers, so I'm able to game flawlessly in TV mode with controllers that I love using. If using with a Switch, please remember to update to the latest firmware version (free from the 8-bit do website), and remember to enable the 'pro controller in wired mode' setting in the Switch menu. Also tested and works with my Xbox Series controller and my PS5 dual sense controller, so I haven't experienced any issues yet!

I bought these to use my ps5 controller son nintendo switch (latest version), i bought two of them, with the latest version of the switch, there are two usb ports next to each other, because of the placement and the size of the USB, you can only fit one of these usb's in at a time, unless you buy a usb extension cable, which i did, in which case you can attach both, i believe the older version of nintendo switch has 3 ports so this shouldn't be an issue with the old version. It works quite well, sometimes there can be issues initially connecting the controllers, and occasionally the signal drops out, but i did manage to get many hours of play in using this device, before i switched to the official nintendo controllers. So if you've got some ps controller lying around this is a cheap alternative to get you up and running on switch. Would recommend for the price.

I'm really disappointed with the 8Bitdo Wireless Bluetooth Receiver. It is touted as an easy way to wirelessly use the Nintendo Switch Pro controller with a PC. After several frustrating hours, I can emphatically state that this is not the case. Things got off to a bad start when opening the box. The USB had a printed sticker on top with a screenshot of a menu screen from the Nintendo Switch. It showed how to troubleshoot a common issue when pairing controllers with the console . As first impressions go, it's up there with a slap to the face or a swift knee to the groin. The box itself does not contain instructions, and does not indicate a website where these instructions can be found. You'll have to search google yourself. To add to the misery, the 8Bitdo adaptor I received was not running the current firmware. To update, you need to download the upgrade tool from the company website. Again, you'll need to figure that out yourself. With my Switch Pro controller finally paired with the 8bitdo adaptor, it was time to try some gaming. After firing up Fifa 20 through EA Origin, I soon realised that things were amiss. It seems that the buttons on the controller are not mapped correctly. To press the A button, I needed to hit up on the d-pad. To press the B button, it was the right trigger. The left stick works fine horizontally, but is inverted vertically, which makes navigating menus a challenge. After spending a significant amount of time googling how to remap the controller, it appears that at present, this is not possible. It's never nice to give a product 1 out of 5 stars, but after tonight's fiasco, I have no choice. If you are thinking of buying this to make your Nintendo Switch Pro controller compatible with your PC games, this is not your solution.

Ayant déjà le "Wireless USB Adapter (v1)" et plusieurs manettes de chez 8BitDo, je connais assez bien les produits de la firme; et c'est que du bonheur (pour l'instant). 🟢 Le positif. - Compatibilité assez large : Différents OS sur PC / RasPI / Nintendo Switch ... etc ... - Compatibilité manettes : presque toutes les manettes de chez 8BitDo à ce jour, mais aussi les manettes de PS3 / PS4 / PS5 / XboxOne / XboxSerie XS / Wiimote / WiiU Pro Controller / Switch Pro Controller ... - Les manettes autres, que celles de chez 8BitDo, sont reconnues comme étant des manettes de Xbox360 sous Windows. De fait, elles passent pour des manettes en D-input (pratique pour certains "vieux" jeux). - Le programme "8BitDo Firmware Updater" à télécharger sur le site de 8BitDo, qui permet de mettre à jour les manettes comme les dongles de la marque. - Avec le programme "8BitDo Ultimate Software" à télécharger sur le site de 8BitDo, il est maintenant possible de faire le mapping des touches de différentes manettes, autres que celle de chez 8BitDo. Il faudra bien penser à mettre à jour l'adaptateur avant. 🔴 Le négatif. - L'adaptateur ne fonctionne qu'avec une seule manette la fois. - Ce dongle est un peu large, sur PC comme console. De fait, quand deux prises USB sont côte à côte, cela peut être problématique. Bref ... Tout fonctionne sans le moindre problème, je n'ai eu aucun constat de lenteur de communication.
