Over the years I've used other machines, had physical therapy, had massage, rolfing etc. Nothing could help it. The machine also worked incredibly quickly on my plantar faciatis (much, much quicker than those boots you wear to bed!) and many other issues. The Bad: The on-off switch is poorly placed. almost anything shuts it down - gets very frustrating while trying to use the unit. This is my second of these units. I wore the first one out. I use it for something almost daily. I'd have given this 5 stars but for the very irritating on-off switch issue. I called the manufacturer, hoping they'd email me a shipping return label, but they said "You didn't buy it from us". (I bought it on Amazon.) So I had to pay the $23 shipping and insurance for repairs. AND they required I mail them a $30 CHECK for the return postage. Customer service is guarded, and their aim seems to be to protect and cover themselves, not the purchaser.
