L'Oreal Age Perfect Colour Care Beige

I was looking for a non permanent product that would revive and condition my grey hair without leaving my hair looking faintly purple . This is easy to use , shampoo in and leave for 2 minutes. My hair colour was not drastically changed but it felt nicely conditioned and my grey hair was brightened and looked ' lifted ' . I didn't want a drastic change - I am grey haired but did not want to suddenly be bright white or left with an unnatural colour . There is no strong chemical smell or unpleasant smell to the product, no staining on my hair line . Plastic gloves ( 2 pairs ) are provided . I will continue to use as I think it tones down any yellow tinges and brightens the hair without it looking ridiculously bright or silvery. The result is very natural and flattering. I will buy again .

Terrific. Couldn't find in local chemist any more. Best product for my silver grey hair. Leaves it soft and lifts it to a lovely colour.

As someone who has decided to embrace my natural, I was looking for a product that would tone down the old dyed hair against my new sparkles & despite using purple shampoo I needed something a bit stronger. It toned down my demarcation line & brightened my silvers. Take care as it stains so gloves a must.left my hair soft & shiny & bonus as enough product for a couple more uses.

Like everyone else, I’ve not been able to go to the hairdressers. Last year I got my mum to dye my roots but the colour was too dark and I’d mistakenly used a permanent dye rather than semi permanent. Sorted when we were able to go back I’d asked to go a bit lighter due to more greys coming through so she put some highlights in. This helped massively but it got to the point I needed a touch up. Opted for warm gold to try and match the highlights as I couldn’t find a strawberry blonde toner. Easy to use but was worried about not being able to use conditioner (assume it won’t take if you do) as my hair is very dry. I couldn’t comb it through as directed but did my best to massage it in and left it for about 15 minutes. Surprisingly, my hair felt like it had be conditioned when I rinsed so very pleased. I didn’t expect a perfect match but has blended in really well and the grey is definitely not as noticeable now. I would like to try and stick to toners so my hair is in better condition as I’m quite lucky to only need to wash my hair once per week - I suppose it wouldn’t be cost effective if you have to wash your hair every day. From my experience I would recommend this product.

I'm really pleased with the effect this product has on my fine, white (grey) hair. I'd been experiencing yellowing of my hair and had been using a purple mousse, but it's difficult to apply consistently and sometimes I'd end up a bit too purple or patchy. Purple shampoos didn't seems to have much effect. The colour this creates is (accurately described as) oyster and it seems to leave hair glossy too. Potentially this will wash out after two washes, but it is so easy to apply and I only wash my hair 2-3 times a week and having short hair, I reckon there will be 5 -6 applications per tube.

L'Oréal has completely changed the formula, not for the better. As the photos show it's now purple, not blue, that was what made it so good. It's very runny and the original wasn't, so it was great at not dripping everywhere. The results were brilliant with the original blue formula, I could leave it on my grey hair for 30 mins without it staining it blue or purple, and I got excellent results, icy and vibrant white hair without any yellowing. Now it's stained my hair pink, even though I left it for 2 mins as directed. I'm never buying it again.
