It does its job very well its quiet. To date it hasn't faulted and it sits straight into the cradle slotting comfortably into the housing bay of the tower. Very good value for the money.

Great HDD, never had any problems with Barracuda hard drives. Do the job, with no problems.

Was fast delivery for me, not on prime. Very quiet drive and I have had it running 24/7 since March 2026, no probs with over heating. Have quite a few of these drives, they, as I have found, have a very low mechanical failure. Always fits the bays connectors well made. Excellent value for the price. From the moment I started using it, I noticed how quiet it is — genuinely almost silent, which makes a big difference during long sessions. Works perfectly, very good purchase

Arrived very quickly only a few hours from order to delivery. I wanted the 2tb but would have taken longer to arrive and I needed the drive asap to transfer the data from a drive in critical failure. The drive itself is performing perfectly read and write speeds are what you’d expect from a more premium drive. Yes it’s on the pricey side but IMO it’s worth spending a little more on this drive if you intend to keep it.

A typically good quality, affordable mechanical HDD from Seagate. Since one of my old small internal HDDs decided to wave the white flag after 14 years of use & 3 different PC builds (I can't complain), and currently being 'of limited means' I needed a reliable, well-priced replacement -preferably significantly larger & faster. This 2Tb Seagate model fit the bill perfectly; a standard, well-understood and engineered drive that is bought and used by many people for good reason. The spec. on these BarraCuda drives is good -not spectacular / 'high-end', but it isn't supposed to be: they're designed to provide people with a decent-capacity, solidly specified mechanical HDD at an affordable price, and have built a formidable reputation as exactly that. Supplied in the usual box and anti-static wrapping, the BarraCuda gives a good impression, nicely built, with a natty green label. Installation is exactly as you would hope / expect and as plug & play as any internal drive can be: fix into appropriate bay, plug in leads, and, as relevant, get your OS to assign a drive letter, format & off you go. In use, I've found it quiet, with good access time and no sign thus far of any reliability issues -exactly as you would hope. Since my ancient desktop (almost a decade old now) has another very elderly HDD installed which I use purely for storage, I'll be buying another of these BarraCudas in the next couple of months as a preemptive measure and capacity / speed upgrade. Does exactly what it's supposed to do / says on the tin: a good HDD at a decent price. Recommended.

Ottima velocità quasi 220 mb/s in scrittura e soprattutto costanti. Dopo un po’ di utilizzo tende a surriscaldarsi facilmente fino 52 gradi con uso continuo in scrittura, perciò è consigliato farlo riposare ogni tanto. Usato con box esterno 3,5 usb

Ho acquistato il Seagate Barracuda 2TB per espandere lo spazio di archiviazione del mio PC, e sono pienamente soddisfatto. Punti positivi: Capacità: Con 2TB, offre ampio spazio per salvare file di grandi dimensioni come video, foto e giochi. Ideale per utenti domestici e professionisti. Affidabilità: La serie Barracuda è nota per la sua durata nel tempo e la qualità costruttiva. Finora, non ho avuto problemi di malfunzionamento. Prestazioni: La velocità di rotazione di 7200 RPM garantisce tempi di accesso e trasferimento dati più rapidi rispetto ai modelli a 5400 RPM, pur rimanendo silenzioso durante il funzionamento.
