Samsonite Luggage Winfield 2ファッションHS 3 Piece Set

While the orange luggage is not the most attractive looking luggage, you can definitely see it from a mile away among the black, dark blue and grey luggage. It is lightweight, comfortable but I have not brought it for travel to test for durability. It came very securely though from USA to Singapore, so I think it will be quite decent. Glad to get a samsonite at quite a cheap price. :)

We all know Samsonite is great when it comes to luggage so I thought those was a no brainer. Itt was for me. I bought them to take on a cruise. If you've never taken luggage on a cruise you may not understand... You have to take 9 days worth off clothes, shoes AND all the ship specific crap. Magnets for the metal walls. If you don't buy anything else but magnet hooks. It was my first cruise so I bought crap I never used, of course; but I wished I had taken more magnet hooks. Ok. So anyway. First time cruiser. I'm packing like I'm on a month long safari and over bought EVERYTHING Amazon said I needed for a cruise. So my 2 - yes 2! - suitcases are packed to the hilt. Zippers stretched beyond the laws of physics. These babies withstood all of it AND all the souvenirs I had to take out a second mortgage to buy. Yeah. That's when I knew they were worth their weight in my souvenirs. But what made them worthy of me writing this review is my jet setting 40 year old son who has gone on African Safari said, "mom, send me that link to where you bought your luggage. I need a new set."

This luggage set lasted for about 10 years. Although still issuable, the large checked in pieces started falling apart, e.g. plastic covering and paint coming off, small cracks in the hard shell outer covering, etc. the wear tear was understandable given the amount of traveling we did during the time. We could still use the luggage but it is a little worn. The carry on piece is still in great shape! Well worth the money we spent.

Loved these suitcases. The price was right and it's easy to spot on the luggage carousel. Unfortunately, it was also easy to spot every scuff and scratch, and the larger cases soon looked the worse for wear. I'd say it's great for car travel and carry-on, but as for checked baggage during air travel: Buy something in a less conspicuous color. It just doesn't hold up well to the beating.
