M1 Mac miniと組み合わせて安定稼働中
M1 Mac miniにmacOSのβ版（macOS 13, Ventura）をインストールして現行のmacOS 12と切り替えて起動するために使用しています。USBハブを介して接続しています。 外付けSSDにmacOSをインストールする際には、USB接続ではなくThundervolt接続のSSDケースが必要との話も見かけていたので、本製品はテストの意味で購入してみました。 β版macOSのインストール自体はOKで、外付けSSDからのOS起動も問題はありません。誤算があったとすれば、β版macOSのアップデータが途中（beta5）から当たらなくなってしまったことで、これはUSB接続の本ケースに問題があったのか、macOSのアップデータ側に問題があるのかは不明です。 β4のアップデートは行えたことを考えると、macOSのβアップデータに問題があったと思っています。 耐久性については、長期間テストしたわけではないため★４つにしていますが、何か問題があるわけではありません。内蔵させたSSDが対して発熱しないため、放熱で問題が出るわけではなさそうです。

使用方法が分りません
使用方法が分りにくい。 説明書が英語で、無茶苦茶小さな字で書いてある。デザイン優先。USB-C接続しかできない。

使用時はカバーを開けた方がいい
M.2用のケースは大体どれも似たような構造なので、作りの精巧さやUSBの変換チップで選ぶと思います。前に購入したケースがあまりにひどかったので、こちらに買い換えましたが、良いと思います。 取り付けは簡単で、基板を差し込み固定用のパーツで反対側を留めるだけ。固定パーツは指でひねるだけ。小さい樹脂製で、紛失した時用に予備も付属していました。カバーをしたままだと稼働温度は70度を超える事もありますが、そもそもこういうケースに入れたままで熱伝導パッド無しで十分に放熱出来るわけはなく、ならば使用時はカバーははずせば良いと割り切っているので問題ないです。

Very happy. I am very impressed at the performance of this enclosure.
I am using this enclosure. I am using a Samsung 960 EVO NVME I am connected to a USB 3.1 Gen 2 Type-C / Intel Thunderbolt 3 I am booting off this drive, using it with Windows to go. This was exactly the performance I was hoping for an it is lightening fast. Its hard to believe that a USB device can now be faster then a regular SSD. It does get a bit hot under heavy load, but using it to browse the internet or watch videos its only a bit warm. Hot when transferring large files. If you have the right hardware (usb port) for this I highly recommend it.

Very Useful But Tricky to Close
Works fine. I used it to clone a Nvme so that my two identical laptops are set up exactly the same.Tricky part was locking the plastic pin to hold the nvme down. The box comes with 2 of the pins. It took about 2 minutes to figure out. I like the product and the price was good. The C cable makes back ups quick. I will be using the heck out of it over time - I hope it holds up.
