Found this a fascinating read, especially that it is a true story and highly recommend. Well written and read in 2 days. Look forward to reading more of Marie Benedict books.

Good read
So well written. Enough description that you can imagine the setting but not used as padding for the main story. Neither is the story drawn out, it moves at such a good pace. Well worth reading

Never compensated for her brilliant inventions: Hedy Lamarr
I was fascinated by this account of Hedy Lamarr's life. Written fiction that contained real life facts about her....this felt like her biography. A great deal of research went into the writing about one of my favorite actresses in the black and white movies that I love to watch! Miss Lamarr was a self-taught inventor. She was brilliant! I was both shocked and saddened to learn that the government rejected her invention that could have shortened the WW II because she was a woman. Like the brilliant women in England and America who were code breakers during the war. They were never thanked or given credit for their contributions because ther were women. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND this book!!!!!
