Follow up: Cronda has reviewed the claim and said electric tape is, in fact, a suitable wiring solution. Please dont buy this product. What better way than to get into the water, cool off and see the ocean life. Tried it out in the pool first to get used to it. Very easy to set up and use. We have since used it 3 times out in the ocean and get a lot of people asking what it is. This thing is amazing so far with the use that we have given it. Two things, if using in salt water make sure to rinse it off with fresh water when done. I have a toothbrush I keep with it to scrub the metals when done. Second is there is no carry “bag” or anything to put it in when transporting it.
