KEF Muo Portable Bluetooth Speaker, Wireless Waterproof Speaker, Black

I have two Muos in a stereo pair. They are superb. The imaging and transparency are outstanding. However, buyers should note this is a high fidelity speaker engineered for a flat and accurate frequency response. Most BT speakers have a ‘V’ shaped response with emphasized bass and treble. If you like that sound, this speaker is not for you. Some reviewers have complained about the flat and dull out of the box sound. A visit to the KEF site will tell you they recommend 10 hours of burn in at normal volume to soften up the innovative woofer speaker suspension. I’m very critical of burning, but in this case, it is needed. I bought one speaker first, and after a few hours the sound became much more dynamic and full. I was able to demonstrate that the effect was real when I bought my second speaker. There was a significant and very audible difference in sound quality until it burned in. All in all, this is an excellent product well worthy of the KEF name, but if you want emphasized bass and treble as opposed to sonic accuracy, you should buy another brand.

Very large sound imaging footprint for a tiny mass object otherworldly actually, I have a single one and I'm waiting for its pair for EQ perfectly balanced stereo amazing device.. 👍🏼🤩 you will hear lyrics in music you've listened to hundreds of times that you never noticed.... Remarkable sound engines...KEF

This is a hefty little speaker that gives out good bang for the buck. The shell is constructed of metal - I got the silver and it looks like raw metal (which I like a lot). I used it for a couple small audience performances at work, and it gave out decent sound for its size. I don't think it was meant to fill a large multipurpose room, but it almost did. It provided clear, rich sound that had performers and audience alike moving to the beat. I think the combo of the metal casing and the quality of the innards combined for the good results. It has rubber feet that prevent the thing from vibrating all over the place. If there are any cons at all, the speaker is easy to tip off its feet and needs a solid surface to sit securely, it might be heavy for active carriers and (at least I haven't figured it out yet) it doesn't pair automatically with my phone when I turn it on like my Bose one does.

Bright sound at any volume!

Compared to all speakers at this size (including B&O, HK) this thing is nuts. Just perfect. Bass is not its forte, but for near field listening (i use it while working on PC) this thing is perfect for low volumes. high fidelity at low volumes is where this shines!

Lifeless and non-dynamic sound. KEF should be embarrassed to place its name on a product producing below average sound - returned speaker right away.

Built quality is good.got three star because of that and because support aptx..,but,.for sound quality:It's not KEF That we all know.do yourself a favor...look for harman kardon Luna ..with half the price ,but It's sound better.

Sound is great.! Just heavy for carrying a round!

Feels very premium and sounds excellent. It really brings out nuances. Having said that, you can get great sounding speakers for much less, and the app is nothing to write home about...

Unbelievable sound! Better than all competition. Still has to return because of 1.slight latency with MacOs. Beats pill offers better connectivity for Apple devices both with Bluetooth and usb c. 2.Also black model gets fingerprints easily. If you just care about sound or have an android/windows this is as good as it gets.

Just excellent
