I purchased this for the high silica content. It is really helping with thinning hair and will likely order again. I was taking horsetail, but this is much better . I have had no problems with this product. So, I would reccomend this for thinning hair.

I have only been taking the bamboo caps for about a month but I have noticed less hair shedding, and less bare spots on my scalp. Others have noticed as well so it's not just wishful thinking. I have had no side effects so I'm going to keep it up...hopefully the progress will comtinue.

I feel adding silica to my diet has made me stronger overall more healthy in the short time I've been taking it. Further testing is needed though, I think to experience the full effects would take a year or two of consistent use, perhaps more. There was a study done on two young sickly and weak chickens, one was given silica with its feed, the other not. The silica diet chicken grew to be healthy and robust. The one that didn't receive silica continued to be sickly and weak as it grew. Then you have gorillas who get a ton of this stuff in their daily diets. One of the healthiest and most robust creatures on earth. Have you ever seen a weak gorilla? I feel that humans are missing vital nutrients such as silica in our diets that if supplemented, would transform our health and lives.
